Plenty of incentive then for the west midlands club ahead of this important encounter and although Villa have produced some inconsistent results of late, the visitors look the more likely to find a way to collect the three points than their hosts, following recent wins over Southampton, Arsenal and Leeds United.
Villa have also made a better fist of things away from home too this season and they bring a three-match unbeaten run into this midweek tussle and perhaps just as important, three clean sheets on the trot.
