Sitting in 12th place are newly-promoted Sheffield United and their early performances certainly warrant their current league position as they’ve been the brightest starters out of the three promoted teams from the Championship so far this season.
The visitors started their return to the top flight with a well earned point in a 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth and then followed that up with a 1-0 home win against Crystal Palace which handed Sheffield United, Chris Wilder, a great start to life in the Premier League.
However, results have dropped off since despite Sheffield United’s efforts as The Blades have slipped to defeats against Leicester City, Southampton and Liverpool, although the latter result saw Sheffield United give Liverpool a run for their money.
On the positive side of things, United still remain unbeaten away from home in the Premier League this season as they’ve also taken a point off Chelsea with a 2-2 draw and registered a much needed 2-0 win at Everton.
