Bath are winless after two rounds of action in Pool 3 of the Heineken Cup. But at least with those losing bonuses, they have been able to keep things pretty tight in their fixtures against Ulster and Harlequins It is -7 points different that Bath are on after those matches. They only have the one try up on the board though.

Clermont have stacked up eight tries already in their two games. They were beaten by Ulster last time out, however. But they are favourites to stick the win on the board on Friday night. Given that they have won all but one of their last eight games against English Premiership opposition in the pool stage of the tournament, then there is certainly form there to back the Top 14 side with. Each of the seven wins in that sequence were by an average margin of 24 points. The French outfit are the top scorers after two rounds of action in this season’s pool stage with 66.
