This is about a bit of pride then for these two. Neither can finish in the top two of Pool 3. Between them, there has only been one win produced in the Pool. That was Harlequins victory over Bath in the reverse fixture. Bath are now on a five-match losing streak in the Heineken Cup which is their longest run ever in the competition without a victory. While they can leapfrog above the Quins with a victory on Friday, Bath may take a step back from the fixture and focus on getting things going in the Premiership where they are in contention for a top-four finish.

They have won five of their last seven fixtures in the competition against Gallagher Premiership opposition. They have won their last two such fixtures as well. Quins have been struggling with the ball in hand in getting carries going, but then Bath have looked poor in making breaks in their European fixtures.
