Betfair go live with Jumio ID Verification

Quicker ID verifications for customers

Online betting site Betfair have made the verification process for  accounts a lot easier for customers after going live with Jumio. What the integration will mean is that customers will not need to send in a picture of their ID to the verifications team anymore, bypassing the know-your-customer checks.

Philip Rivers, head of registrations, payments and fraud at Betfair, said: “By adding Junior’s Netverify into the customer verification process, we are making life quicker and easier for our customers, minimising fall-out from lengthy verification processes and removing costly man hours where we have to receive and review documents manually.”

The move will make life quicker and easier for its customers, with Rivers saying the solution would now minimise fall-out from lengthy verification processes and remove costly and lengthy procedures where documents have to be reviewed manually.

“More and more of the top operators are integrating Jumio into their customer verification processes,” said Junior’s EMEA sales director Catherine Hickey. “Betfair is the latest operator to use Jumio not just to meet Know Your Customer requirements but also to deliver a quicker and slicker customer experience.”
