The punter, from County Kerry, who has remained anonymous, placed a €3 each-way accumulator on the cards at Ayr, Worcester and Windsor on Monday. With the first four legs of the bet all coming in, including Dark Defender a 15/2 shot at Ayr and Utility an 11/2 shot at Worcester, everything was riding on Hareball at 7/2.
This was in the 9.05 at Windsor and with the backed selection winning the handicap, it took the total winnings of the pruner’s acca to €12,497.36.
