Harlequins opened their season with a defeat at Exeter. That was only a three-point defeat, however. Harlequins took a fifth-place finish in last season’s Premiership, running out of steam towards the end and were unable to lock down a place in the semi-finals. A decent performance out at Exeter though will have lifted them.
Quins got their first league win of the season last weekend in a home victory against Bristol by a 22-17 scoreline. The problem for the Quins is getting those away wins on the board. They have lost each of their last five top-flight away games. Another negative stat running for them is their inability to win back to back games. They haven’t done that since March this year.
