PDC Darts World Championship 2020 Third Quarter Winner Odds & Predictions

Will Voltage claim the third quarter at the World Championships?

Darts Betting

The third quarter of the draw at the PDC Darts World Championship 2020 tournament is probably the most competitive. At least it could pan out that way at the end of the day as there is likely to be a really tight three-way scrap between Peter Wright, Rob Cross and Dave Chisnall. There should be some thrilling darts going down in this section at the Alexandra Palace.

Who will come out on top in the strong third quarter?

Second seed and former World Champion Rob Cross is the highest-ranked player in the third section of the PDC Darts World Championship 2020 draw. Rob “Voltage” Cross has had a great season having picked up the World Matchplay and the European Championships. He reached two other televised finals as well.

At the head of the market to win the third quarter, Voltage is up against Peter Wright. In the last edition, Wright had an early shock exit against Toni Alcinas and has struggled to make a huge impact at the World Championships during his career, aside from his runner up spot to Michael van Gerwen back in 2013.

Therefore there has to be some appeal in Dave Chisnall making a run at success in the quarter. He has earned three titles in this campaign, albeit none of them at televised tournaments. His best effort of the season in televised events was a runner up spot at the World Grand Prix and a semi-finals place at The Masters.

He also made three other quarter-finals. He can’t be bad value at 4/1 to come through his section of the quarter ahead of Wright and then challenge Voltage* (betting odds taken from Bet365 on December 11th, 2019 at 1:45 pm)
