Motherwell Preview – Can the Steelmen pick up first win of new season?
Motherwell had an exceptional season in the Scottish Premiership last term. Despite the campaign being cut short, Stephen Robinson’s men finished third behind Old Firm duo Celtic and Rangers. They picked up an impressive 14 wins, finishing the season a point ahead of Aberdeen on 46 points.
Unfortunately for Motherwell, they lost their 2020-21 season opener last weekend. It was a close game at Victoria Park, with a Ross Stewart penalty giving Ross County a 1-0 home win. Callum Lang was sent off late on for Well.
Motherwell had a topsy-turvy time on their own patch last season. The Steelmen won seven, lost seven and drew one of 15. Away from home, only Celtic and Rangers picked up more points.

Dundee United Preview – Can the Terrors maintain unbeaten start?
Dundee United were crowned Championship champions last season, finally making it back to Scotland’s top division after being relegated in 2016. Despite a change in manager, the Terrors will fancy their chances of staying in the Premiership beyond this season.
Dundee Utd started life back in the top division with a hard-fought draw last Saturday. They got off to the perfect start when Nicky Clark gave them the lead from the penalty spot after just six minutes. Michael O’Halloran was sent off for St Johnstone, but Liam Craig rescued a point for the visitors with a goal ten minutes after the break.

United were very good on the road on the way to promotion from the Championship last term, and they are more than capable of taking all three points back to Dundee on Saturday. At the time of writing, the away team are priced at 5/2.
