Football – World – World Cup 2018 Betting Tips

Welcome to my World Cup 2018 betting tips, and Poland will be keen to set the record straight when they take on Colombia in the second round of group matches in Group H, with both teams desperate for all three points to keep their hopes alive.

Poland’s first group match was a far cry from the side we saw in the European qualifying section for this World Cup which had previously dominated Group E ahead of Denmark thanks to winning eight of their ten matches played.

However, a tentative and very conservative Poland ended up on the losing side to Senegal whose desire and willingness to go forward was rewarded with a precious three points. It’s now time for Poland to deliver on their promising qualifying form, and they really need to get the supply into striker Lewandowski here if they’re to stand any chance of getting something from this clash.

It’s true that a couple of defensive errors undid them against Senegal which they never really recovered from, but they need to re-group and players such as Grosicki, Milik, Blaszczykowski and Lewandowski need to stand up here, while cutting out the errors at the back.

Onto Colombia, and a hand ball by Carlos Sanchez changed the game dramtically for Colombia against Japan who converted from the spot and saw Sanchez receive a red card to reduce Colombia to 10 men.

Although they clawed their way back to level the scores at 1-1 through a free-kick from Quintero, they were always up against it, particularly in the second half when Japan finally realised that if they kept possession for long periods of the match, that they’d tire the Colombians out.

This proved to be the case when Osako headed home from a corner, and from then on, Colombia were chasing shadows despite throwing on their star player, James Rodriguez in an attempt to grab at least a point.

On a positive note, Rodriguez should feature from the start here, and along with Cuadrado, Quintero, Izquierdo and of course, Facao, up front, they should pose the Polish defence plenty of questions in the final third.

Both teams have to go for it here, and my betting tips system advises both teams to score in an open match.
