Sunday afternoon brings us further action from the Scottish Premiership as Rangers take on St Johnstone at Ibrox as the betting tips continue north of the border.

St Johnstone have made a pretty reasonable start to their new Scottish top flight campaign as they’ve suffered just one defeat so far this season which was an opening day 2-0 defeat away at Kilmarnock.
Since that opening loss, St Johnstone have recovered by beating Dundee 1-0 at home and a 2-1 win away at Hamilton Academicals along with taking points against Hibernian and Aberdeen in 1-1 draws at their McDiarmid Park.
The visitors recorded a 3-1 win in their last visit to Ibrox but there’s a very definite feeling that this season’s Rangers side are a very different prospect this time around, and The Saints will do extremely well to get even a point away from home here.
Having held Villarreal to what was widely regarded as a highly unexpected point away from home in the Europa League, Rangers will be in confident mood here and my betting tips suggest backing the hosts here to cover the asian line.
