Rangers Preview – Can ‘Gers increase lead at top?

Rangers have suffered just the one defeat so far in this season’s Scottish Premiership campaign but they only hold a four-point cushion over 2nd placed rivals, Celtic, as we head into these midweek fixtures.

The singular defeat was handed out to Rangers early on in the season with a 1-0 defeat away at Dundee United but the hosts have since put together a solid looking 19-match unbeaten run overall in the domestic top flight.

Rangers have also won their last five home games on the trot but the hosts have won by a 3-goal margin in just two of their 11 home games to date this term.

 

 

Livingston Preview – Can Livi avoid heavy defeat?

Although they’ve dropped down to fourth from bottom in the Scottish top flight, Livingston have produced an encouraging run of results of late in the Premiership with just one defeat out of their last five matches overall.

That loss came in the shape of a 2-1 loss away at Motherwell but recent wins against Hibernian, Dundee United and Dundee should give the visitors belief and confidence that they can give Rangers a run for their money here.

In addition, Livi have lost just two of their last seven away games as well.
