EFL Championship Matchday 46: Best Betting Football Tips

Bournemouth vs. Millwall: EFL Betting Tip

Bournemouth and Millwall meet in an intriguing Championship fixture at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries will be in party mode after securing their place in the Premier League. As for the Lions, they can still sneak into the top six but only three points will do on the coast.

Kieffer Moore netted the all-important goal on Tuesday to fire Bournemouth back to the Premier League. The Wales international’s effort seven minutes from time was enough to give Scott Parker’s troops a vital 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. The work may be done, but the Cherries will be looking for all three points from this one.

Our betting prediction:
Kieffer Moore to score anytime
13/10

Millwall have enjoyed a successful season, regardless of what unfolds on the final day. The Lions can finish in the play offs, but the Londoners need to take maximum points at the Vitality and hope for favours elsewhere. Ahead of this round of matches, you can get Millwall at 35/1 to finish in the top six.

Bournemouth will be in high spirits, and we fancy the home side to edge an entertaining contest. You can get the tempting price of 11/4 for the home victory and both teams to score.

Luton Town vs. Reading: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Luton Town have arguably been the surprise package in the Championship this season. Nathan Jones’ men are just one win away from booking their spot in the play-offs. On Saturday. The Hatters welcome Reading to Kenilworth Road.

Luton have had a remarkable season in the Championship, which could still end in promotion to the Premier League. No matter what happens elsewhere, three points will be enough. However, Town must recover from Monday’s humbling 7-0 defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Reading have had a miserable season off and on the pitch, but Paul Ince has kept them up. The Royals will finish down in 21st spot, though they were well clear of the bottom three in the end. Only the bottom two of Barnsley and Peterborough have suffered more defeats than Reading.

We can see Luton getting the job done with a comfortable home victory on Saturday. Take a punt on the Royals to win -1 at 14/5.

Preston North End vs. Middlesbrough: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

Chris Wilder takes his Middlesbrough side to Deepdale to play Ryan Lowe’s Preston North End this Saturday. If they win and Luton Town fail to beat Reading, Boro will finish in the play-offs. Can Wilder’s boys do their bit in Lancashire?

Lowe has done a steady job since taking over at Deepdale, and Preston can still finish in the top half of the Championship table this season. After taking just one point from three games, North End ended the winless run with a 3-1 victory at Barnsley last time out.

Middlesbrough are still in with a shout of finishing in the top six, but they must beat Preston to stand any chance. If Sheffield United or Luton lose, three points will be enough. Boro will also finish sixth if they win and Luton only draw with Reading.

We are backing Middlesbrough to do their bit in style, it is then up to the gods to see whether they will sneak into the play-offs at the eleventh hour. We like the look of 29/20 for Boro to be winning at half time and full time.

Preston North End 19/5

Sheffield United vs. Fulham: Best EFL Betting Tips on Matchday 46

One of the standout games on the final weekend is the Sheffield United vs Fulham affair at Bramall Lane. Despite sitting pretty in fifth, the Blades could still miss out on a play-off spot. However, victory over the champions will guarantee their place in the top six.

Paul Heckingbottom has done a marvellous job since returning to the Bramall Lane hotseat. Sheffield United have flown up the table under his guidance and are now in pole position to take a play-off berth. No matter what happens elsewhere, three points for United will be enough.

Fulham won the Championship title in style on Monday, as goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic (2), Tom Cairney, Kenny Tete, Fabio Carvalho, Bobby Decordova-Reid and Jean Seri earned an emphatic 7-0 home win over play-off chasers Luton. A win in the Steel City will see Marco Silva’s men finish on 93 points.

Sheffield United will want all three points to make sure, but we can see the champions returning to the capital with a point. The draw and under 2.5 goals is priced at 15/4.
