Ladbrokes have decided to stick around as supporters of the Scottish Professional Football League for a little bit longer.  They have opted to extend their sponsorship to 2020, and that will inject more cash into the Scottish football division. The deal between the two parties is reported to be around the £5 million mark, and the operator has stated that they will be upping the level of the investment across the Scottish league.

The deal was initially signed in 2015 and at the time, the £4 million deal was the most lucrative in the history of Scottish Football. That initial deal was extended by one year last summer by Ladbrokes.

Even though Ladbrokes and Coral have merged, for sponsorship, things will continue to be known as the Ladbrokes SPFL. It was only just back in 2013 that the SPFL went under some re-branding with the goal to revitalising the support of the tiers. It has clearly worked and this latest bumper deal is a testament to the work that has been done.
