Premier League Matchday 3: Best Betting Football Tips

Bournemouth vs. Arsenal: EPL Betting Tip

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have started well, picking up two comfortable wins so far. Can the Gunners make it three victories in a row with three points against Bournemouth on Saturday? Arsenal head to the Vitality Stadium as the clear favourites.

Bournemouth were promoted from the EFL Championship last term, finishing runners-up behind Fulham. The Cherries made a solid start to life back in the Premier League, as goals from Jefferson Lerma and Kieffer Moore gave them a 2-0 home success over Aston Villa. In game two, Scott Parker’s men lost 4-0 at Man City.

Our betting prediction:
Gabriel Jesus to score first
7/2

Arsenal got the new Premier League season up and running with a Friday night win over Crystal Palace. Arteta’s troops were very easy on the eye at Selhurst Park, with a Gabriel Martinelli header and a Marc Guehi own goal giving the Gunners a 2-0 win.

After the victory in south London, Arsenal followed it up with an impressive 4-2 home triumph over Leicester City last time out. We can see them winning by a margin again, and there is good value in 11/10 for Arsenal to win -1.

Leeds United vs. Chelsea: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

On Sunday afternoon, Chelsea make the trip to Elland Road to face Leeds. Both teams have taken four points from their opening two fixtures. However, the Blues are the big favourites in this one.

Leeds started well, beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Elland Road in game one. They were 2-0 up at Southampton last weekend, but late goals from Joe Aribo and Kyle Walker-Peters squared the game. Still, four points from a possible six is a good return.

Chelsea were made to work hard for their points at Everton on matchday one, with a first-half Jorginho penalty giving the Blues a 1-0 win at Goodison Park. The Londoners were then involved in a frantic 2-2 draw with rivals Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. Harry Kane rescued a point at the death for Spurs, and Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte were sent off at the final whistle.

Chelsea will want to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointment, and they should edge past Leeds in this one. Put some money on the away win and both teams to score (21/10).

Newcastle United vs. Manchester City: Premier League Betting Odds & Predictions

Pep Guardiola takes his Man City superstars to St James’ Park on Sunday to face Eddie Howe’s Newcastle. The Magpies have started the season well, but the champions are the heavy favourites in this one, with the bookies pricing the away win at just 4/11.

Newcastle kicked off their 2022-23 Premier League season with a solid 2-0 home win over newly promoted Nottingham Forest, with Fabian Schar and Callum Wilson scoring in the second period. They followed that up with a decent draw at the Amex Stadium.

Man City have started the defence of their Premier League crown in dominant fashion, winning two out of two without conceding. After a 2-0 victory at West Ham United in game one, City eased to a 4-0 triumph over Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium last week.

The Citizens will be looking to make it nine points out of nine with another routine win. Take a punt on Man City to win to nil at St James’ (13/10).

Manchester United vs. Liverpool: Best EPL Betting Tips on Matchday 3

Saving the best for last, Man United and Liverpool clash at Old Trafford on Monday night. The Red Devils have made a dreadful start, losing to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford. As for the Reds, they have drawn both games.

Erik ten Hag has had the worst possible start to Old Trafford life. After losing at home to Brighton, the Red Devils were embarrassed by Brentford last weekend, losing 4-0 at the Brentford Community Stadium. Can they restore some pride by beating their bitter rivals on Monday?

Liverpool have started slowly in terms of results, drawing with Fulham and Crystal Palace in their opening two. However, the Reds head to Manchester as the odds-on favourites to win this one. Last season, Jurgen Klopp’s men won 5-0 at Old Trafford and 4-0 when they met at Anfield.

Man United will be desperate to bounce back, but we fancy Liverpool to seal all three points at Old Trafford. Put some money on the away team to be winning at half time and full time at 13/10.
