Nevertheless, wins over Valencia home and away, along with a home win over Young Boys and a 1-0 win at Old Trafford against Manchester United saw Juventus complete the job in hand, but they face a difficult looking two-legged tie with Atletico Madrid next up in the knockout stages of the competition.
