Comprehensive wins over Basel 3-0 at home and a crushing 4-1 win over CSKA Moscow away from home have set Jose Mourinho’s side up for further success in this elite european competition, and they’re quite rightly priced as favourites for tonight’s clash even though they’re away in Lisbon.
United possess various attacking options in the final third, not least of all, the likes of Lingard and Rashford linking up nicely with Lukaku spearheading the attack. Throw in the likes of Mata, Martial and Mkhitaryan, and you can see that United possess greater depth and quality than their hosts.
