Champions League at bet365

Tuesday night brings us the 2nd legs of the 2nd qualifying round ties in the Champions League and our first featured match is the clash between Estonian outfit, Nomme Kalju, and Scottish champions, Celtic, as the betting tips continue at the A. Le Coq Arena.

Nomme Kalju Prediction – Can Nomme Kalju salvage some pride?

After their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of tonight’s opponents, Celtic, at Celtic Park, Nomme Kalju only have pride left to play for here.

The onus is now on the hosts to put in a much better performance when they return to home soil at the A. Le Coq Arena, as their fans will demand a better shift.

Nomme Kalju have registered just 1 win out of their last 6 matches in all competitions which was a 2-1 win away at Shkendija.

This result ensured Kalju’s progression into this 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League thanks to the away-goal rule.

Nomme Kalju’s only hope now is that they turn it on and respond with a 6-goal win here, but the chances of this happening are extremely remote.

Although results at home have been pretty impressive, Nomme Kalju will need to pull off a miracle at the A. Le Coq Arena if they’re to win this tie.

Just 1 defeat from their last 11 matches gives the hosts a chance on paper but they’ll be up against a far superior Celtic outfit here.

Celtic Prediction – Can Celtic complete rout in Estonia?

The Scottish champions recorded an emphatic 5-0 win in last week’s 1st leg at Celtic Park, and this 2nd leg now looks a formality.

With at least one foot already in the next 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, Celtic now need to just finish the job in Estonia.

Having previously seen off Bosnia-Herzegovina club, Sarajevo, with a 5-2 aggregate win in the previous round, Celtic look set for progression in this competition.

The recent win over Nomme Kalju became Celtic’s ninth match without defeat in all competitions, and they don’t need to take any chances here.

This may not support a half-time/full-time pick on the visitors at first, but Kalju need to push forward here and save some pride.

This will almost certainly leave the hosts open to be picked off and Celtic have the personnel to exploit these gaps in this 2nd leg.

Celtic have also won 4 of their last 5 away matches in all competitions so they’ll be confident that they can continue their dominance in this return leg.
