Tuesday night’s hosts, Rennes, have made a solid start on the domestic front in the French top flight as they still remain unbeaten after the first six matches of the new campaign, and they’ll be aiming to continue this solid run of form into the Champions League when they entertain Krasnodar in this opening group match.

This season, the Russian outfit negotiated their way past PAOK with a 4-2 win over two legs and although they figure in the group stages of the Champions League for the first time also, they have a tricky opening match in Group E away at a stubborn Rennes outfit.
The visitors also possess limited experience at this level but they’ll be hoping that the experience that they have had will stand them in good stead against a solid Rennes outfit, while looking to improve upon an away sequence that consists of just three away wins from their last 10 matches on the road in all competitions.
