Sheriff Tiraspol have a job to do on Wednesday night when they play host to Torpedo Kutaisi at their Bolshaya Sportivnaya Arena, as they look to chase down a one-goal deficit in this first round qualifying second leg in the Champions League.

Strike pair, Al-Hadji Kamara (8 goals) and Badibanga (5 goals) are the danger men for the hosts.
Onto Torpedo Kutaisi, and they’ll be looking to protect their 2-1 lead as they make their way to Moldova for this crucial second leg clash with a place in the second qualifying round at stake. The visitors come into this clash on the back of three straight wins on the trot with Erovnuli Liga wins over Sioni and Kolkheti Poti as well as last week’s win over Sheriff.
However, results away from home in the domestic top flight haven’t always been convincing this season as they hold a record of 3-2-4 9/10 in the league, as well as winning just once away from home in their previous five away ties in the Champions League.
The visitors will therefore do very well to avoid defeat here tonight, but could find themselves out of the competition if Sheriff click this evening.
