Young Boys have been left bottom of the group following back-to-back 3-0 defeats to both Manchester United (at home) and away at Juventus, so even though they return back to their STADE DE SUISSE Wankdorf in Bern on Tuesday night, a result for the hosts is far from guaranteed.
It’s also three matches without a win for the home side in all competitions as they were held to a high-scoring 3-3 draw away at FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League on the weekend, and they’ve managed just two wins from their last 10 Champions League matches which were gained against Dynamo Kiev at home last season and Dinamo Zagreb away in this season’s qualifying rounds.
Valencia were involved in their sixth stalemate in their last eight matches in all competitions on Saturday when they were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home to Leganes in La Liga, but nevertheless, it’s now six matches without defeat, or if you prefer, just one loss from their last 10 matches overall.
The visitors were handed a 2-0 defeat in their opening Group H match at home to Juventus, but they bounced back with what could be a valuable point away from home when they held Manchester United to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.
Valencia’s recent results away from home in the Champions League have been far from convincing though as they’ve lost four of their last five on their travels with defeats at Gent and Zenit as well as home losses to Lyon and Juventus.
However, the recent point at Manchester United prove the Spanish club can grind out a result on the road and so my betting tips advise backing the visitors with the draw no bet option in this one.
