Arsenal v Everton Betting Tips – Premier League, 23rd September 4.00pm

Arsenal seem to be gathering a little bit of momentum at the moment as they have won their last three Premier League matches on the bounce. They are still having issues at the back but at least they are picking up points. Everton got their first taste of defeat this season as they were humbled at Goodison Park by West Ham. Arsenal News and Form

Arsenal suffered back to back defeats at the start of the season but have settled themselves down. They are on a three-match winning streak now having beaten West Ham, Cardiff, and Newcastle which, arguably have not been their toughest games. The Gunners have not managed to earn a clean sheet yet this season and because of that, then our Arsenal v Everton predictions start at both teams to score at 8/13 odds* (betting odds taken on September 20th, 2018 at 4:45 pm). This could be a really open game with neither of these defences going well.

Arsenal v Everton

The Gunners suffered a loss against Man City in their first home game of the season, before beating West Ham 3-1 at the Emirates. They had Europa League action on Thursday which they now have to start dealing with. On the domestic front they have scored at least two goals in each of their last four league games, so we are tempted by over 3.5 goals in this one. It hasn’t quite happened for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang this season and he is at 12/5 odds in the first goalscorer market* (betting odds taken on September 20th, 2018 at 4:45 pm). He has just the one goal for the season. Arsenal do have good scoring form against Everton with at least three goals in each of their last three games against them.

Everton News and Form

The Toffees had a steady start to the new season under new boss Marco Silva going W1 D3 in their first four games. While they beat Southampton in that sequence, they also squandered leads against Wolves and Bournemouth, so they could have been in a much better position than they are. Their first defeat of their season came along last weekend when they were taken out by a good performance from West Ham at Goodison Park, Everton losing 3-1. The Toffees then are stuck on just the one win this season and away from home their two games have ended in 2-2 draws.

We see Arsenal winning this game and therefore an Arsenal 3-1 correct score is at 11/1 odds* (betting odds taken on September 20th, 2018 at 4:45 pm). The Toffees were really poor away from home last season because they picked up just the three road victories. That’s one win in their last five Premier League away games now for them. Richarlison is back after his suspension and they need him to start picking up things again in front of goal and he isn’t a bad 10/3 odds option in the anytime goalscorer market* (betting odds taken on September 20th, 2018 at 4:45 pm). Everton need to pick themselves back up after last weekend’s setback. It could be tough at the Emirates though for them to do that.

Arsenal v Everton Head to Head

Arsenal scored exactly five goals in both of their league wins over Everton last season which moved the Gunners to a three-match winning streak against the Toffees. Arsenal have suffered just the one loss in their last eight Premier League games against Everton, winning six in that sequence. Arsenal are on a four-match winning streak at home in the top flight against Everton and both teams have scored in four of the last five meetings.
