The quarter-finals are in focus for today’s French Open tips as spots in the final four of the Slam beckon.

There is a blockbuster headlining match that is going to take centre stage.

Reigning champion Novak Djokovic takes on Rafael Nadal in a big early clash in the draw.

We start today’s French Open tennis tips with a look at that mouthwatering prospect.

Novak Djokovic v Rafael Nadal: 2022 French Open tips

Novak Djokovic has not dropped a set in reaching the quarter-finals of the French Open.

In facing Diego Schwartzman in the fourth round, Djokovic visibly went up a gear or two.

He quickly took down the challenge of his opponent to start the second week of Roland Garros action in fine style.

At last year’s semi-final stage the Serbian clashed with Nadal and came out on top.

That victory snapped a run of five defeats in a row against the Spaniard on the clay.

On the surface of things, Djokovic, who arrived after collecting the Rome Masters title in his build-up, has peaked perfectly for this.

Nadal, a thirteen-time French Open champion has not won a title on clay since Rome 2021.

He arrived at Roland Garros with some indifferent form on the clay swing this year.

In the fourth round Nadal was taken to a deciding set by Felix Auger-Aliassime.

A long tiring match is the last thing needed ahead of facing Novak Djokovic.

Tip: Djokovic 3-0 at 9/2

Free Tennis Betting Tip: Alexander Zverev v Carlos Alcaraz

Young Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz can do no wrong at the moment as he goes in search of his fifth title of the year.

The 19-year-old has been in stunning form and has dominated the clay swing.

His huge run this season at the Madrid Masters, Alcaraz defeated Nadal, Djokovic and then Tuesday’s opening Alexander Zvevev in the final to lift the title.

That was the second ATP Masters 1000 title that Alcaraz has earned this year.

In that recent match with Zverev, Alcaraz did not drop a set.

He looks composed and formidable on the clay.

Zverev hasn’t really had a stern test yet in this French Open but will get one on Tuesday.

He’s not been too bad on the clay this swing but doesn’t match up to the record that Alcaraz has produced.

Tip: Alcaraz 3-0 at 7/5

Martina Trevisan vs Leylah Fernandez: Daily Free Tennis Tips on Online Betting

We go over to the women’s draw for the next of our French Open tips.

Leylah Fernandez battled past Amanda Anisimov in the last round.

The young Canadian did not get a comfortable ride in that one and had to battle for her spoils.

This is the first time she has reached a quarter final in any clay tournament above the W25 level.

It’s also the first time that Fernandez has won three clay court matches in a row at a single tournament.

Can last year’s losing US Open finalist get the better of Martina Trevisan?

The Italian has had a fantastic campaign, battling past Aliaksandra Sasnovic in straight sets in the fourth round.

Trevisan won both matches via a tie break and she fended off a set point in the first.

Trevisan hit form on the clay with a title in Rabat ahead of this year’s French Open, her first WTA title.

This looks really tight, and we are just swinging with Fernandez.

The youngster has come past tougher opponents in the draw so far than Trevisan has, the Italian facing her first seed.

Tip: Leylah Fernandez to win at 10/11

Cori Gauff v Sloane Stephens: Daily Free Tennis Tips on Online Betting

We get an all-American duel in the quarter finals next to look for French Open tips.

Twice in the first set of her fourth round match against Elise Mertens, Gauff trailed by a break.

But still, she fought back and claimed the match win in straight sets.

She bageled Mertens in the second set.

Gauff has broken new ground this year, the first time she’s won four matches at the French Open.

The clay form wasn’t particularly hot ahead of this, but she’s looking in fine form at the moment.

Sloane Stephens had to fight back from dropping the first two games of her fourth round match against Jil Teichmann.

But then she didn’t drop another game in the entire match.

The 2018 runner up had no form on the clay whatsoever ahead of this run and has been in trouble a few times in this adventure.

Tip: Gauff 2-0 at 11/10
