On Wednesday, we are into the second day of the quarter finals for this year’s French Open tips.

It’s two each from the men’s and women’s draw and once again, we should be looking at competitive match-ups.

We start the day’s best French Open tips with the women’s matches.

Veronika Kudermetova v Daria Kasatkina: 2022 French Open tips

These two appeared destined for a collision course at this stage and this should be a good one.

Daria Kasatkina has quietly moved through the draw and was in blistering form in the fourth round.

She powered past Camila Giorgi in straight sets, letting just four games go.

Through this French Open campaign, Kasatkina has averaged only three games against her per set.

Just in May, Kasatkina ran to the semi-finals on the clay at the Rome Masters, knocking out some tough opposition.

Veronika Kudermetova scraped past Madison Keys in the last round in three sets.

She did an excellent job getting at the serve of Keys when it mattered most.

Kudermetova doesn’t have a great record in the Slams, and she trails Kasatkina 1-0 from their previous meeting which was last year in St Petersburg.

Tip: Daria Kasatkina to win at 11/8

Free Tennis Betting Tip: Iga Swiatek v Jess Pegula

World number one Iga Swiatek extended her huge winning streak to 32 matches with victory in the fourth round.

But the 2020 French Open champion did have a scare in that match.

She had dropped the first set against 19-year-old Zheng Qinwen and wasted five set points.

That was the first set dropped by Swiatek at the Slam and the first time she had let a set slip in over a month of action.

Swiatek has not quite been at her top level in the last two rounds, but those are most likely blips.

If she clicks back into top gear then looks unstoppable.

Jess Pegula has been enjoying the second week of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career.

She made progress past Irina-Camelia Begu in the last round, not facing any breakpoints.

Pegula had only won two previous French Open matches before this run.

The American is 1-1 against Swiatek from previous meetings, Swiatek’s win coming in Miami in March.

Tip: Iga Swiatek -5.5 handicap at 8/11

Andrey Rublev v Marin Cilic: Daily Free Tennis Tips on Online Betting

We now move into the men’s quarter finals for French Open tips for Wednesday.

Andrey Rublev caused an upset in the last round, knocking over Italian youngster Jannik Sinner.

Sinner had to retire in the third set with the score at 1-1.

So Rublev, who has yet to win a match at the French Open without dropping a set, benefits from a bit of extra rest.

The Russian has been showing up with some reasonable form on this clay swing.

He’s won ten of his last twelve matches on the surface.

Next up for him is Marin Cilic who pulled off an even bigger shock in his fourth round match.

Cilic was unplayable as he demolished the game of Daniil Medvedev to win 3-0.

That was some performance from Cilic who was in indifferent form on the clay swing.

If he plays like that again, which is no guarantee of course, then he could be worth chancing.

There have been two previous meetings on clay between the players, which stands at 1-1.

Earlier this year, Cilic knocked Rublev out of the Australian Open.

Tip: Marin Cilic to win at 6/5

Free Tennis Betting Tip: Casper Ruud vs Holger Rune

Norwegian youngster Casper Ruud came through his fourth round match against Hubert Hurkacz with little fuss.

It was a 3-1 scoreline that Ruud prevailed by.

Just one of his four wins in this tournament has been delivered without him conceding a set.

Before heading to the French Open, Ruud had warmed up nicely with a title on the clay in Geneva.

He was going well in the Rome Masters before that before his campaign was stopped by eventual winner Nova Djokovic.

It’s a W11 L1 record now for Ruud in his last dozen clay court matches.

He meets Holger Rune for a place in the Slam semi-final.

Rune caused one of the upsets of the men’s draw when he sent last year’s losing finalist Stefanos Tsitispas packing.

It’s been only one set that Rune has dropped in this entire campaign, which has been totally out of the blue at this level.

He did win a lower-tiered clay event in Munich in May, knocking out Alexander Zverev along the way.

We would just have to roll with top ten player Ruud holding his nerve better.

Tip: Casper Ruud 3-1 set betting at 3/1
