Cardiff City News and Form – Can the Bluebirds continue fine home form?

Despite failing to win any of their eight away league matches so far, drawing four and losing four, Cardiff City have one of the best home records in the league. The Welsh side have dropped just four points on home turf (four wins, two draws), with only Preston North End (20) and Birmingham (16) picking up more home points so far.

Neil Warnock will be looking for a response from his players after their poor showing at the Liberty Stadium last Sunday. The South Wales bragging rights went to Swansea City, as Ben Wilmot’s first-half header gave Steve Cooper’s Swans a deserved 1-0 home win.

Birmingham have blown hot and cold on the road. The Midlands outfit have yet to draw an away game, winning two and losing five of seven. Since beating Charlton Athletic 1-0 at The Valley, Birmingham have lost three away matches in a row. Meanwhile, the club have lost six of their past seven on the road in all competitions.

However, things have been going just fine in Wales for the Bluebirds. Warnock has challenged his team to go the entire season unbeaten at the Cardiff City Stadium, and they should see off the challenge of Birmingham on Saturday. At decent odds of evens, it’s definitely worth backing the hosts to come out on top in this one.
