Elsewhere, Middlesbrough and Swansea City meet on Saturday afternoon at the Riverside Stadium, while Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City go head-to-head on Sunday.

Fulham vs. Bournemouth: EFL Betting Tip

Fulham and Bournemouth have been the two top dogs in the division so far this season, but both have dropped points lately. Who can hold their nerve and secure a precious three points on Friday night? As you would expect, the hosts are the favourites.

Fulham recently went on a staggering seven-game winning streak in the Championship to fire themselves to the summit. However, they have drawn their last two. After being held to a goalless draw at home by bottom side Derby County, Marco Silva’s men drew 1-1 at Preston North End last time out.

Our betting prediction:
Aleksandar Mitrovic to score first

Scott Parker’s Bournemouth have also drawn their last two. Last weekend, they let a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 at home with Coventry. Parker has made a superb start at the Vitality Stadium, but the Cherries’ momentum has halted of late, with the Dorset club picking up just one win from their last five.

This promotion six-pointer could go either way, but we fancy Fulham to get the job done at the Cottage. There is good value in 11/4 for the home victory and both teams to score.

Coventry City vs. West Bromwich Albion: Best Football League Betting Predictions

Saturday’s Championship action begins with a tasty-looking fixture at the Coventry Building Society Arena between Midlands sides Coventry and West Brom. This is a tough one to call on paper, with only a point separating the pair in the current Championship table.

Mark Robins’ Coventry have had a fine campaign so far. The Sky Blues have picked up an impressive 33 points from their opening 20 fixtures and have spent practically all season in the top six. However, they could do with a win after three successive draws.

Valerien Ismael started well at The Hawthorns, but West Brom have gone off the boil in recent months. The Baggies head to Coventry having picked up just three wins from their last ten Championship matches. As a result, Albion have slipped eight points away from second.

Coventry have been extremely hard to beat since returning to their home, with just Swansea winning on their patch in league action. City have drawn the last three, and we can see Robins’ troops drawing again this weekend (43/20).

Middlesbrough vs. Swansea City: EFL Betting Odds & Predictions

Middlesbrough and Swansea clash in the Championship at the Riverside Stadium this Saturday afternoon. After picking up his first win as Boro boss last weekend, Chris Wilder will be looking for another three points here. The home team are the favourites.

Wilder started life at Middlesbrough with a draw with Millwall and a defeat at home to Preston. However, his Blades picked up a precious three points last weekend, with Duncan Watmore scoring twice in a 2-1 victory at Huddersfield Town.

Russell Martin’s Swansea head to the Riverside in patchy form. After a solid win at Barnsley, the Swans were beaten at home by struggling Reading last time out. The Welsh side are in ninth spot with 27 points to their name.

After the excellent win at the John Smith’s Stadium, we fancy Middlesbrough to follow that up with a comfortable home victory on Saturday. Check out the decent odds of 3/1 for the hosts to win -1.

Queens Park Rangers vs. Stoke City: Best EFL Championship Betting Tips on Matchday 21

Sunday’s Championship fixture will see QPR and Stoke battle at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Both teams will be looking for a place in the top six this season. In-form Rangers are the slight favourites here.

Mark Warburton is doing a fantastic job at QPR this term, with the Londoners sitting third after 20 games played. Rangers are unbeaten in six in the league, winning four and drawing two. In their last outing, the Hoops came from behind to win at Derby.

Stoke have blown hot and cold of late. After three successive wins to fire themselves back into the play-offs, City head to the capital this weekend having lost their last two. Nevertheless, Michael O’Neill’s men are in seventh, just two points away from the play-offs.

QPR have been one of the surprise packages in England’s second tier this season, but they fully deserve their lofty league position. We are backing Warburton’s boys to secure a fourth successive victory on Sunday. The home win is nicely priced at 7/5.
