Harry Kane Next Club Odds Preview: Tottenham’s European hopes for next season were dashed on the weekend. The Londoners lost 3-1 at Leeds.

The result left Spurs seven points outside of the top four and two out of the top five with just three fixtures to play.

So the chances are getting slimmer.

If they fail to turn things around and secure European action next season, will that prompt a big summer transfer?

Here we take a look at Harry Kane next club odds.

Table of Contents

Champions League hopes look grim

Spurs have to try and turn around a seven-point deficit in three remaining fixtures to get to the Champions League next season.

That’s unlikely. They have one of the best strikers in the world in Harry Kane and without the lure of top-level football, has the time come for the two to part?

What does Kane’s contract say?

Harry Kane is contracted at Spurs until 2024, but contacts don’t stop transfers happening of course. He is now 28, at the peak of his career and importantly, in demand.

Will he want to stay around at Tottenham, resisting the lures of bigger contracts and bigger chances of securing major club silverware?

It could be a big summer for Kane who will, of course, be on international duty with England at the European Championships.

Euros to raise Kane’s stock?

Imagine Harry Kane having a tournament to remember at Euro 2020 this summer. What if he walked away with the Golden Boot?

That would send his stock further through the roof, with potential suitors knocking on the door.

But for all that could happen, his chances of securing a lucrative contract abroad at one of the big clubs looks less likely than a Premier League switch.

Kane leaving North London rumours persist

It’s not as if transfer speculation about Harry Kane has not happened before. It has become a staple of recent summers.

But there have been persistent rumours that this could be the summer that he leaves Tottenham. The situation at Spurs doesn’t help.

There has been no clear indication of where the club are going in terms of securing the next permanent manager.

After sacking Jose Mourinho recently, they have left former player Ryan Mason in charge until the end of the season.

Manchester United FAVS in Harry Kane next club odds

It is Manchester United who appear to be the frontrunners to get Kane’s signature.

They had been out as far as 7/1 in the market, but are now 2/1* (odds record on May 9th, 2021 at 23:10 GMT at William Hill).

It makes sense. The Red Devils need an out and out striker, something that they are missing.

They have been the closest challengers to Manchester City in this season’s Premier League title chase and have reached the Europa League Final.

It is a move that would keep Kane in England and a clear fit can be seen there.

It appears to be a toss-up between United trying to keep Edinson Cavani or signing Kane, which brings this further into perspective.

Harry Kane’s next club odds

Manchester United 2/1
Man City 3/1
PSG 10/1
Chelsea 14/1
Real Madrid 20/1
Juventus 25/1

Would Man City make the move?

Sergio Aguero is leaving Manchester City in the summer. So that potentially opens the door for the Citizens to go shopping for a top striker.

Would they make a move for Kane? Man City are the 3/1 second-favourites in Harry Kane next club betting odds* (odds record on May 9th, 2021 at 23:10 GMT at William Hill).

Kane is one of the best in the business in Europe and naturally, a move to the Etihad would further his ambitions of winning silverware.

City could make a great case for themselves.

They are standing on the brink of their third Premier League title in four seasons and have a Champions League final to play.

Are there any options abroad?

We don’t immediately see Kane heading off to pastures new abroad. There could be a potential link up with former manager Mauricio Pochettino at PSG.

PSG have the money to splash around and are 10/1 in Harry Kane next club betting odds* (odds record on May 9th, 2021 at 23:10 GMT at William Hill).

But that may not be the most appealing move for Kane. He would be competing for places and limelight with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

On the flip side of that, Champions League football would pretty much be guaranteed for Kane season after season.

Real Madrid have leaned heavily on 33-year-old Karim Benzema this season and the Frenchman has delivered. It’s not a move that immediately has legs.

The financially-troubled Barcelona doesn’t look like a likely destination either. So Kane could be staying in England. But will he be leaving North London?
