Fulham News and Form – Can the Cottagers make it four in a row?
Fulham started life back in the Championship with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Barnsley at Oakwell. However, the Cottagers have hit back in stunning style, winning three on the spin to fire themselves up to third. At the time of writing, Fulham are just a point adrift of joint leaders Leeds United and Swansea City.
Fulham have secured successive wins over Blackburn Rovers, Huddersfield Town and Millwall, scoring eight and shipping only one along the way. In fact, Parker’s men have conceded just two goals so far.
Fulham ran riot against London rivals Millwall at Craven Cottage in midweek. The excellent Ivan Cavaleiro, who has settled in with aplomb, sent them on their way after just 15 minutes, with Anthony Knockaert making it two on the half-hour mark. Aleksandar Mitrovic banged home a penalty 11 minutes into the second period, and Cavaleiro completed the scoring shortly after.
Fulham, who are many people’s favourites for promotion, are starting to find their rhythm under Parker. Can the Cottagers claim a fourth consecutive victory with three points against Nottingham Forest on Saturday?

Nottingham Forest News and Form – Difficult afternoon for the Reds?
Nottingham Forest have responded well following their opening weekend loss to Slaven Bilic’s West Bromwich Albion. The Baggies beat Forest 2-1 at the City Ground, coming from behind to do so. However, the Reds have taken five points from their last three.
Last Saturday, Nottingham Forest cruised to a 3-0 win over Birmingham City at the City Ground, which was their first league triumph under Sabri Lamouchi. First-half goals from Joe Lolley and Lewis Grabban put the game beyond the Blues, with veteran Michael Dawson adding a third in the 65th minute.
Forest have been hard to beat on their travels under Lamouchi so far. The Nottingham club remain the only side to have taken anything from Leeds United this term, as Grabban netted in a 1-1 draw at Elland Road. Last time out, meanwhile, Albert Adomah was on the scoresheet in a 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic. However, Forest picked up just four away league wins last season.
Nottingham Forest will fancy their chances of causing an upset at Craven Cottage at the weekend, but unfortunately for them, I can see the Reds leaving London with nothing to show for their efforts.
