Premier League Matchday 23: Best Betting Football Tips

Manchester United vs. West Ham United: EPL Betting Tip

Ralf Rangnick’s Man United and David Moyes’ West Ham go head-to-head at Old Trafford in a fascinating Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils are the favourites on home soil, but the Hammers are currently ahead in the league table.

Man United have been in patchy form of late, taking four points from their past three fixtures. After losing at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, which was Rangnick’s first defeat, they let a 2-0 lead slip to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa last weekend. On Wednesday, however, United beat Brentford 3-1 away from home.

Our betting prediction:
Edison Cavani to score first
5/1

West Ham are having another sensational season under the experienced Moyes. The Irons are sitting pretty in the UEFA Champions League spots after collecting 37 points from 22 matches. However, they did lose 3-2 at home to Leeds United in their last one.

This truly is a tough fixture to call, but home advantage could give Man United the slight edge. Take a punt on the hosts to win by one goal at the decent price of 14/5.

Manchester United 10/11

Southampton vs. Manchester City: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

On Saturday evening at St Mary’s, Southampton welcome Premier League leaders Man City to Hampshire. Pep Guardiola’s men are on a stunning winning run and head to Southampton as the overwhelming favourites with the bookies.

The Saints have had a mixed bag of results of late, though last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Wolves at Molineux was the club’s first reverse in six league and cup matches. In their previous home outing, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side thumped Brentford 4-1 at St Mary’s.

Man City are in devastating form right now. Since suffering a shock home loss to Crystal Palace in late October, the Premier League champions have won 12 league matches in a row. They opened an 11-point gap at the top with a 1-0 home success over Chelsea last weekend.

Southampton held City to a goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season, but the runaway leaders should ease to victory at St Mary’s this weekend. We like the look of the away team to be winning at half time and full time at 4/6.

Arsenal vs. Burnley: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal entertain Sean Dyche’s Burnley at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday. The Gunners have been extremely strong on their own patch this season, and the home side will fancy their chances in this one.

Arsenal have won five in a row at home in the Premier League, scoring 11 and conceding just one along the way. Only Chelsea and Man City have left the Emirates with maximum points this term. Arsenal are challenging for a Champions League place this season, so three points is a must from this one.

After recent results, Burnley have slipped to the foot of the Premier League table. They have games in hand on their relegation rivals, but the Clarets would rather have the points on the board. Dyche’s troops have picked up just one Premier League win all season.

As we mentioned, the Gunners have made the Emirates a real fortress this season, and Arsenal should have no issues in this one. You can get the solid price of 21/20 for the home team to win -1 this Sunday.

Chelsea vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 23

The final Premier League fixture before the break is a cracker, as London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham do battle at Stamford Bridge. Having recently been dumped out of the Carabao Cup at the last-four stage by Thomas Tuchel’s Blues, Antonio Conte’s Spurs will be out for revenge.

Chelsea have been tough to beat this season, though five of their past seven Premier League matches have ended in draws. In midweek, the Blues failed to beat Brighton & Hove Albion, drawing 1-1 at the Amex Stadium. They have not won at the Bridge in league action since 11th December.

Conte has made a good impression since arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In midweek, Spurs scored twice in injury time to seal a memorable 3-2 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. They have fared better on their own patch than away from home this season, but Conte and his Tottenham side will be well up for this one.

Chelsea have won all three meetings this season, scoring six and conceding none. However, we fancy Tottenham to hold the out-of-sorts Blues to a draw at Stamford Bridge this Sunday. Check out the draw and under 2.5 goals at 15/4.
