Premier League Matchday 4: Best Betting Football Tips

Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Hotspur: EPL Betting Tip

The Premier League returns with a tasty London derby between Crystal Palace and Tottenham at Selhurst Park. Patrick Vieira will be looking for his first Eagles win, while Nuno Espirito Santo’s Spurs will be hoping to maintain their 100% Premier League winning record.

Vieira has had a tough start to Premier League life so far, though they have drawn with West Ham United and Brentford in their last two since opening up with a 3-0 defeat at Chelsea. The Eagles will be desperate for a win sooner rather than later.

Our betting prediction:
Harry Kane to score first
11/4

Without setting the world alight, Nuno has won three out of three in the league at Tottenham so far. Spurs kicked off their season with a superb 1-0 home win over champions Man City. They backed that up with 1-0 victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Watford. The Lilywhites also booked their place in the inaugural group stage of the UEFA Conference League.

Palace will be desperate for a positive result in front of their home fans, but we fancy Tottenham to leave Selhurst with all three points. You can get 43/20 for Nuno’s boys to win to nil again.

Crystal Palace 13/4

Tottenham Hotspur 10/11

Leicester City vs. Manchester City: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

One of the standout games of the Premier League weekend is the Leicester v Man City encounter at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes beat the Citizens in the FA Community Shield game last month, but the champions are the red-hot favourites on Saturday.

After a humbling 4-1 loss at West Ham, Leicester bounced back before the international break with a welcome 2-1 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road. Overall, Brendan Rodgers’ men have won three of their opening four league and cup matches this season.

After losing to Leicester in the Community Shield and then falling to an opening weekend defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League, Man City have been back to their blistering best in their last two. They thumped both Norwich and Arsenal 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

After scoring ten and conceding none in their previous two, Man City will be looking for another convincing win on Saturday. The scoreline might not be as big, but we still fancy the champions to cruise to victory at the King Power. Back Man City to win -2 at 17/4.

Chelsea vs. Aston Villa: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

Saturday’s late game in the Premier League comes from Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea entertain Aston Villa. The Villans beat the Blues at Villa Park on the final day of last season, but the London side are the odds-on favourites in this one.

Chelsea have made a strong start to their season. After winning the UEFA Super Cup in August, Thomas Tuchel’s men begun their Premier League campaign with back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Arsenal. Last time out, they battled with ten men for half of the game to earn a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

Aston Villa were the surprise package in the Premier League last term, and they have opened up this campaign by taking four points from a possible nine. Life after Jack Grealish will be difficult, but Dean Smith has a solid squad of players at his disposal.

Unfortunately for Smith and Villa, we can see Chelsea being far too strong for them at the Bridge this Saturday. We like the look of 3/4 for the home team to be winning at half time and full time.

Chelsea 7/25
Draw 9/2
Aston Villa 23/2

Odds: 3/4 odds taken 1230 GMT, Friday 10 September

Leeds United vs. Liverpool: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 4

The only Premier League game on Sunday promises to be a belter, as Leeds and Liverpool lock horns at Elland Road. The Yorkshire side gave the Merseysiders plenty of problems in the two meetings last season, and Marcelo Bielsa’s boys will be well up for this one.

Leeds have yet to win in the Premier League this season, though they have drawn their last two. After a win over Crewe Alexandra in the cup sandwiched in between, United head into this one unbeaten in three in all competitions.

Liverpool were quick out of the blocks, beating Norwich 3-0 at Carrow Road and Burnley 2-0 at Anfield. However, having played half of the game against Chelsea with a man more last time out, Klopp’s boys dropped two points in that one. Still, they will be eager to return to winning ways on Sunday.

With Elland Road in full voice, this will not be an easy task for Liverpool. However, we fancy the away team to sneak it. Take a look at the tempting odds of 11/4 for the visitors to win by one goal.
