Premier League Matchday 6: Best Betting Football Tips

Chelsea vs. Manchester City: EPL Betting Tip

Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea and Pep Guardiola’s Man City go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. This promises to be a mouth-watering matchup in the capital, which could go either way. The Blues are the ever so slight favourites.

Chelsea have been excellent this season, winning all bar one of their nine league and cup matches so far. Tuchel’s team sit top of the Premier League table after four wins and a draw, three points ahead of Man City. Will they move on to 16 points with a win at the weekend?

Our betting prediction:
Romelu Lukaku to score first
4/1

Man City have won three, drawn one and lost one of their opening five in the Premier League. The English champions were held to a frustrating 0-0 home draw by Southampton last weekend, so Pep’s boys will be hoping to bounce back in style at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

Since arriving in west London, Tuchel has beaten Guardiola’s City three times in three separate competitions. Back in May, Chelsea edged past City in the 2021 Champions League final. We fancy the Londoners to nick a home win here (33/20).

Brentford vs. Liverpool: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

Saturday’s late game in the Premier League will see Thomas Frank’s Brentford entertain Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The in-form Reds head to the Brentford Community Stadium as the clear favourites with the bookies.

The Bees, last season’s EFL Championship play-off winners, have made a good start to life in the Premier League. Frank’s men sit ninth after two wins, two draws and one defeat so far. Last weekend, the London outfit won 2-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Liverpool are joint top of the Premier League table with 13 points to their name. So far, the Reds have beaten Norwich City, Burnley, Leeds United and Crystal Palace, scoring 12 and shipping one. Klopp’s troops will be looking for their seventh league and cup victory of the season this Saturday.

Brentford will give plenty of the big boys problems this season, but Liverpool should edge past the west Londoners on Saturday night. Have a punt on the away win and both teams to score at 9/4.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham do battle at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The pair have had their issues this season, but both clubs will be gunning for all three points from this derby game. Who will take the north London bragging rights?

After a terrible start, Arsenal have finally found some form, winning four of their last five in all competitions. In the Premier League, the Gunners have secured back-to-back 1-0 victories over Norwich and Burnley. Prior to that, Arsenal had lost their opening three without scoring a single goal.

Tottenham picked up a hat-trick of 1-0 Premier League wins over Man City, Wolves and Watford to top the Premier League during the September international break. However, Spurs have returned with back-to-back 3-0 losses to Crystal Palace and Chelsea. They did get the better of Wolves in the EFL Cup in midweek, though.

Arsenal deserve credit for their upswing in fortunes of late, but the real test will come against their rivals on Sunday. Both teams will want all three points, but we fancy the north London duo to play out a draw at the Emirates. There is good value in the draw and both teams to score at 18/5.

Arsenal 6/5

Tottenham Hotspur 47/20

Crystal Palace vs. Brighton & Hove Albion: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 6

The final Premier League fixture of the weekend will take place on Monday when Crystal Palace welcome rivals Brighton to Selhurst Park. The Seagulls have been the surprise package so far, and Graham Potter’s men will be searching for a fifth league win.

Patrick Vieira has had a tough time at Selhurst so far, with the Eagles taking just five points from a possible 15. However, they have already played the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool. Can Palace pick up a much-needed positive result in this one?

Brighton have been brilliant so far, winning four of their opening five in the Premier League. The Seagulls are a point behind Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United in fourth. Overall, Albion have won six of seven in all competitions this term.

Crystal Palace may have the home advantage, but we fancy in-form Brighton to take home all three points from this derby fixture. The away victory is nicely priced at 31/20.
