Premier League Matchday 7: Best Betting Football Tips

Sheffield United vs. Manchester City: EPL Betting Tip

Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City superstars to Bramall Lane this Saturday to play Chris Wilder’s struggling Sheffield United. City head to the Steel City as big favourites and will surely return to Manchester with all three points.

The Blades, who were the surprise package in the Premier League last term, have had a tough start this season. After six games played, United are down in 19th having taken just one point from a possible 18. They are one of four clubs yet to win thus far.

Our betting prediction:
Raheem Sterling to score first

Man City have been nowhere near their scintillating best in the Premier League so far, taking just eight points from five games. However, Pep’s boys warmed up for this one with an impressive 3-0 UEFA Champions League victory at Marseille in midweek.

After dropping points at West Ham last time out in league action, the Citizens will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday. In truth, City to be too sharp for the Blades at Bramall Lane. Back the away team to win both halves at 17/10.

Liverpool vs. West Ham United: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and David Moyes’ West Ham square off in the Premier League at Anfield this weekend. Since that shock 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa, the Premier League champions have won three and drawn one of their following four in all competitions. Will the Reds secure a fourth victory on the spin this Saturday?

Despite the horrendous showing at Villa Park, Liverpool have actually made a decent start. The Merseyside outfit have won four of their opening six, scoring 15 times along the way. Leaders Everton are only above their rivals on goal difference.

West Ham made a slow start, but Moyes’ men have been superb in their last four. After thumping both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City, the Hammers have held Tottenham Hotspur and Man City to draws in their last two.

West Ham have been excellent lately, but Saturday’s showdown at Anfield will be a stern test for the Londoners. Klopp’s Liverpool should get the job done on home soil. There is good value in the Reds win and both teams to score at 7/5.

Manchester United vs. Arsenal: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Man Utd and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal do battle at Old Trafford in the standout Premier League fixture of the weekend. As is usually the case when these sides meet, this is a tough one to call, but the hosts are the slight favourites with the bookies.

To be fair to United, they have responded well from their harrowing 6-1 loss to Spurs on home soil before the international break. They won 4-1 at Newcastle United before drawing 0-0 with Chelsea at Old Trafford last weekend. United have yet to win at home in the Premier League this term – can Ole’s boys change that this Sunday?

Arsenal made a decent start, winning against Fulham and West Ham in their opening two. However, Arteta’s men have lost three of their last four in the Premier League. Last Sunday, the Gunners crashed to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

United have certainly shown a big improvement since returning from the break, and we can see the Red Devils picking up a precious three points at the Theatre of Dreams this weekend. The home victory is available at 23/10.

Manchester United 23/10

Arsenal 5/2

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Brighton & Hove Albion: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 7

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and Graham Potter’s Brighton & Hove Albion meet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday night. Spurs have had an extremely busy schedule at the start of this season, but the London side will be eyeing up a comfortable home victory in this one.

Since losing to Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the opening weekend, Spurs are unbeaten in five in the Premier League, winning three and drawing two. They have had a couple of dodgy results, but 11 points from their last five is a decent return for Mourinho’s men.

Brighton have had another tough start in the top flight. The Seagulls have taken five points from six games, winning one, drawing two and losing three. Albion have not won in five league and cup matches since beating Preston North End on the road in the Carabao Cup on September 23rd, losing three and drawing two.

Tottenham should coast to all three points on their own patch this weekend. The Lilywhites kept their first Premier League clean sheet of the season with a 1-0 win at Burnley last Monday. Put some money on Jose’s boys to win to nil again at 21/10.
