Premier League Matchday 8: Best Betting Football Tips

Watford vs. Liverpool: EPL Betting Tip

Claudio Ranieri takes charge of his first Watford game when unbeaten Liverpool visit Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon. Ranieri would love to get off to a positive start, but the Reds are the clear favourites with the bookies.

Despite the Hornets picking up two wins and sitting in 15th position, Xisco Munoz was sacked at Watford after a 1-0 defeat at Leeds United before the break. Ranieri – who famously won the Premier League with Leicester City back in 2016 – is the new man in charge at Vicarage Road.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score – No
4/5

Liverpool head to Hertfordshire as the only unbeaten team left in the Premier League. So far, Klopp’s boys have won four and drawn three of their opening seven matches and sit second behind Chelsea. Overall, Liverpool have won seven and drawn three of ten league and cup fixtures this term.

After back-to-back league draws with Brentford and Manchester City, the Merseysiders will be looking to get back to winning ways in this one. Have a punt on the away team to be winning at half time and full time at 17/20.

Brentford vs. Chelsea: Best Premier League Betting Predictions

West London duo Brentford and Chelsea do battle at the Brentford Community Stadium in Premier League action on Saturday night. The Bees have made a stunning start to life in the top tier, but leaders Chelsea are the favourites in this one.

Thomas Frank’s men have been superb so far, winning three, drawing three and losing only one of their opening seven fixtures in the Premier League. Since losing 1-0 at home to in-form Brighton & Hove Albion in mid-September, Brentford have gone on to win three and draw one of four league and cup matches.

After a hard-fought 3-1 win over Southampton before the October international break, Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League table. They stayed there after Liverpool and Man City drew the following day. The Blues have been solid so far, dropping just five Premier League points.

Brentford will no doubt put up a brave fight in front of their home fans, but we fancy Chelsea’s class to shine through at the Brentford Community Stadium. You can get 33/20 for the visitors to win -1.

Brentford 5/1

Chelsea 11/20

Everton vs. West Ham United: EPL Betting Odds & Predictions

Everton and West Ham go head-to-head in an intriguing Premier League fixture at Goodison Park this Sunday afternoon. Rafa Benitez has made an excellent start, guiding the Toffees to four league wins thus far. As for the Irons, they are three points behind in the current table.

Former Liverpool boss Benitez has made a positive impact at Goodison since arriving in the summer, as Everton have taken 14 points from their opening seven league matches. The Merseysiders are sitting pretty in fifth spot, just two points behind leaders Chelsea.

West Ham suffered a shock home defeat to Brentford before the break, but the Hammers have made a good start. After finishing in sixth and taking a UEFA Europa League spot last term, the Londoners will be looking to pull off something similar this season.

Everton won four of their opening six games in the Premier League. Last time out, the Toffees then held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford. With three of their next four at home, Everton will be hoping to stay in the top six before the November international break. We fancy them to win this one at 29/20.

Everton 29/20

West Ham United 19/10

Newcastle United vs. Tottenham Hotspur: Best Premier League Betting Tips on Matchday 8

Sunday’s late game will see Newcastle and Tottenham lock horns at St James’ Park. Spurs picked up a much-needed win before the break, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will be gunning for maximum points from this one.

The pressure is really starting to mount on Magpies boss Steve Bruce. Newcastle are winless from their opening seven, losing four and drawing three. They currently sit second from bottom in the Premier League table on just three points.

Tottenham bounced back from three straight league defeats with a hard-fought 2-1 home win over Aston Villa a fortnight ago. The Lilywhites have had a mixed bag of results at the start of this season, winning four and losing three in the league.

Newcastle will be desperate for their first league win sooner rather than later, but our money is going on Spurs in this one. Tottenham have won to nil on three occasions in the league so far, and you can get 31/10 for the London side to win without conceding on Sunday.

Newcastle United 12/5

Tottenham Hotspur 11/10
