Tottenham v West Brom Betting Tips – Premier League 25th November 3.00pm

Tottenham’s title winning credentials have been called into question again having suffered recent back to back away defeats in big games against fellow top six sides. However, they will look to extend their good home winning form as they welcome West Brom to Wembley on the weekend. The Baggies showed Tony Pulis the door after a hammering at home by Chelsea on the weekend and he could no longer justifiably stay in his position. The Baggies have some work to do try and snap their losing streak through.

Tottenham News and Form

Tottenham are on a three match winning streak at Wembley in the Premier League and they have extend their unbeaten from there to five. They have only conceded once in their last four home fixtures in the top flight and therefore Tottenham to win to nil at bet365 returns a price of 5/6 and that looks good value. Two of Tottenham’s last three home wins have been by a 1-0 scoreline and that will immediately be appealing in the correct score market. Spurs have struggled for a high output of goals at home this season as they have only netted eight in six games. They have conceded just the four home goals. Tottenham are one point worse off than they were after twelve games last season. Harry Kane is the 15/8 first goalscorer favourite for the match and he is without a goal in his last three league fixtures now. Tottenham, surprisingly have only been leading at half time once this season at the break on home soil and 62% of their goals have come in the second half of matches. 44% of their goals conceded this season have been after the 75th minute in league matches.

West Brom News and Form

West Brom have dropped all the way to fourth from the bottom now and are only a point above the drop zone. It’s been a shocking run from them and they are on a four match losing streak. Even though in that sequence they had tough games against Man City and Chelsea in there, but also much easier fixtures against Southampton and Huddersfield too. West Brom have failed to pick up a win in any of their last ten league fixtures. Away from home, they have posted a W1 D1 L4 and they have lost four of their last five out on their travels. The Baggies have only netted three goals away from the Hawthorns in the league so far and each of those three came in the second half of matches. Jay Rodriguez is the only West Brom player to have managed more than one league goal this season and he is a 10/3 anytime goalscorer option for them. There has been just one goal in their last four away games for them. 67% of their league games this season have been under 2. 5 goals and that’s largely been down to their own lack of output. Under 2.5 goals at bet365 should have some appeal. West Brom have conceded at least one goal in each of their last 7 matches. Their last clean sheet was in a draw with West Ham back in mid September. West Brom have conceded at least two goals in four of their last six league games.

Tottenham v West Brom Head to Head

Tottenham rolled out a big win last season’s corresponding fixture, posting a 4-0 victory. Three of the last four between them have actually ended in a 1-1 draw, but the Lilywhites are unbeaten in five against the Baggies now (W2 D3) in the Premier League. Four of the last seven league contests between them have been drawn and the Lilywhites have lost just one of their last eight against them.

Tottenham v West Brom Predictions

Tottenham to win: This should be a foregone conclusion really. Spurs have good winning form at home while the Baggies are just struggling in every department at the moment. There may well be turning around in form for them with Pulis gone, but that will take time and Spurs can pick them off to nil in this one.
