Wolves, just like their opponents Watford are looking to break their duck for the Premier League season. Will their first win happen here? So far Wolves have taken a D4 L2 record from their six games. They were very nearly defeated at Crystal Palace last weekend until Diego Jota popped up deep into stoppage time with an equaliser. So they have been sticking in here with some resilience. In each of their three score draws this season in the top flight, Wolves have shipped the first goal of the encounter. Wolves have conceded the opening goal in five of their six EPL fixtures and have been losing at half time in four of them.

They are currently without a clean sheet in five, but they are on a five-match scoring streak. Things haven’t quite clicked for them at all. Watford News and Form – Can Watford win at Molineux?

The two wins that Watford have enjoyed this season have been in the EFL Cup. They are sat winless in the league with only two points collected from their opening six games. It has been an awful start from the Hornets and things got a lot worse last weekend as they were destroyed 8-0 by Manchester City. That was just the second game in charge of Quique Flores are rejoining the club as head coach. This season they are D1 L2 out on the road in the top flight and they are looking for their first clean sheet.

The Hornets have scored just once away from home this season. That goal came in a 1-1 draw against Newcastle. Of the ten away goals that Watford have conceded, seven of them have been in the first half of fixtures. They need a response and what better way for it to happen than to dig out three points against another struggler? If they go and lose this one at Molineux though, they will be trailing Wolves, who are second from bottom heading into the weekend, by five points.
