It’s the moment that all golf fans have been waiting for – the resumption of the US PGA Tour at the Colonial Country Club.
As a special bonus to mark the occasion, Paddy Power are offering each-way betting on the top 10 finishers in the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Colonial Country Club

The Championship course at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas was founded in 1936.
The 5th hole at Colonial, a dog-leg 472-yard par four, is particularly tough and it could be a problem for even the world’s top professionals, many of whom will be chronically short of match practice. The greens are also a lot smaller than other comparable southern state courses to get there, players will need to make sure they hit the narrow fairways.
To quote those wags at Paddy Power, there may be more wayward drives than you’d see in a month of following Dominic Cummings around the country and the social distancing measures in place, and lack of spectators, will make for a strange atmosphere on the par-72 7,054-yard course.

Charles Schwab Challenge Preview

Rory McIlroy will play alongside JON RAHM and Brooks Koepka in Texas as the world’s top three players have been grouped together for the first two rounds of the Charles Schwab Challenge.
McIlroy is making his debut in the tournament and unsure how his form will hold up on his return to action which makes the 8/1 with Unibet look a risky proposition.

Jon Rahm; has form at the Colonial

Rahm is far more interesting at the 12/1 with Bet365 given he finished second in the tournament in 2017.
The Spaniard also has a good record when returning from a break and will not get rattled easily if he doesn’t click immediately back into gear.
Koepka was runner-up in 2018 so also has cause for optimism. The Florida State alumni has won seven times on the US PGA Tour but wasn’t in the best of form prior to the enforced break and can be caked at 28/1 with Betfred.
PGA Tour Golf Betting at Bet365
Kevin Na is the defending champion but a best 55/1 this year.
He will play his first 36 holes alongside Phil Mickelson, who will be 50 this year, and GARY WOODLAND.
Woodland is another with a fine record when arriving at tournaments fresh.
The Kansas native finished joint third in the CJ Cup earlier this year and was fifth behind Tiger Woods in the Zozo Championship, just a shot behind Rory McIlroy. A repetition of either of those efforts would make the 55/1 with Bet365 look attractive.
WEBB SIMPSON has been in even better form this year, winning the Phoenix Open in February.
He was also second in the RSM Classic and third in the Sony Open in Hawaii and has climbed up to second in the FedEx Cup rankings.
If able to build on that momentum, the 34-year-old will be cementing his place in the top five in what is left of 2020 and the 22/1 looks a bet to nothing for each-way purposes.
Our shortlist is completed by a big outsider in ANDREW LANDRY.
Widely available at 250/1, the 32-year-old won a minor PGA event in California in January with a four-round 262 which featured some exceptional putting. He was also impressive in process from the tee and the challenges that the Colonial sets may just suit his style of play which tends to suffer when the emphasis is on power.
