Rory McIlroy is a best 13/8 to be Top GB & Ireland Player at the end of four rounds in the 2017 USPGA Championship, which is no surprise as he’s favourite for the tournament itself in the outright betting. The Irishman has won the USPGA twice – in 2012 and 2014 – and his overall record at Quail Hollow is as good as anyone in this year’s field. Though McIlroy has not had a great year by his standards, he’ll be aiming to put that right this week.
Justin Rose hasn’t finished in the top 50 of a PGA Tour event since finishing runner up to Sergio Garcia at the Masters in April but did finish third in this tournament in 2012. He’s a best 8/1 in the market we’re discussing. Lee Westwood (a best 28/1 to be Top GB & Ireland Player) hasn’t missed a cut since the beginning of April.
