Yazaman 7/4 FAV for Richmond Stakes Odds
It is YAZAMAN who looks to be going to the start of the Richmond Stakes as the favourite.
He is currently sitting at 7/4 at the head of the market* (betting odds taken from William Hill at 19:18 GMT on Wednesday 29th July 2020).
Yazman scored on his debut at Yarmouth and has rattled the crossbar on his next couple of efforts.
He got close at the Windsor Castle in the Royal Ascot meeting and then when he stepped up to 6f for the July Stakes at Newmarket.
In both efforts he missed out on to Tactical. But this could be Yazaman’s moment to shine without Tactical in the picture in this one.
He has the most appeal out of this field and was clear of the rest of the runners with his second place at Newmarket including Qaader.
Can Qaader turn the tables on Yazaman?
There was a fourth place finish for QAADER on his last effort. That was in the July Cup at Newmarket and he had Yazaman in second place ahead of him.
Qaader had scored on his debut and then he followed that up with an excellent run in the Coventry Stakes. But then he was a little disappointing in that recent Newmarket effort.
Qaader had been the favourite for the July Stakes. But he is a bold runner and there is the potential to come back with a response. There is no question that he should be in the mix.
Supremacy can mount a challenge
SUPREMACY got off the mark for his maiden win in his second racetrack appearance. He had only an average debut but he shook that up in scoring at Windsor.
He had a good turn of foot in that 6f success as well and he turns up for last year’s winning yard as well.

Admiral Nelson not be discounted
ADMIRAL NELSON has Ryan Moore booked for the ride and the son of Kingsman is well worth casting an eye over. He landed a winning debut at the Curragh before going to the Coventry Stakes.
He failed to get going in the Coventry Stakes, finishing down the field in eighth. But he is wide open to improvement without question and he had gone to the Coventry Stakes as the favourite.

Rest of the runners
GUSSY MAC is bringing form having shown a nice bit of promise on his debut. He followed up with back to back scores, the most recent of which happened at Sandown on a 5f trip.
Gussy Mac takes on the longer trip for the first time and may likely need to find a big step up in improvement.
LAUDED scored a win on his debut at Haydock. That was an impressive run that he put down there. He followed that up then with inclusion at the Coventry Stakes and finished in the middle of the pack there.
There should still be plenty of progress to come, but this is a big stage upon which to try and find it.
TALBOT has been struggling. He scored on his debut to make a great impression but then has found the going tough. Talbot was at the back of the pack in the Coventry Stakes.
He was at the back of the pack again on his last run, but didn’t have a clean run.

Having only been bettered by Tactical on his last couple of runs, so Yazaman is the standout runner in this field and has to be our top selection.
As for the place conditions then we have to look at QAADER who is better than what he produced on his disappointing Newmarket effort.
Coming from last year’s winning yard it is SUPREMACY that we will look towards to fill out the spots.
