Tea Clipper the 4/1 FAV for Cheltenham Handicap Hurdle

We have a good race ahead of us here. TEA CLIPPER is the current 4/1 favourite for it* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

He has had the one trip this season and he duly delivered a win in it. That was at Chepstow in the Silver Trophy and that took him to four wins in his last five runs.

Tea Clipper was in spectacular form last season and really making huge strides. He looks to have picked up where he left off as well for trainer Tom Lacey.

This will be the first attempt at 3m under Rules and he is going to pull in plenty of interest.

DELL’ ARCA
8/1

Betway

Dell’ Arca well worth a look to continue form

One horse from this field that is thriving at the moment is DELL’ ARCA who is an 8/1 shot in Cheltenham racing betting* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

It has been back to back wins for him, scoring at Aintree and then Newbury. He retains jockey Fergus Gillard who takes 7lb off as well.

So we can easily put all that together and see some strong claims from the 11 year old.

We think that he has enough to make a bold case for himself on Saturday.

Dandy Dan could impress back hurdling

It is a return to hurdling for DANDY DAN after having plied his trade over the fences for a while.

The last time that he had a go at the smaller stuff was back in 2018.

But we think that he warrants some respect at 9/1* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

The last run that Dandy Dan had was in the Durham National last month. It was a very good effort from him there to take a second place finish.

His yard is in form and this will be his second run since wind surgery. Dandy Dan is on a lower mark now back in this sphere. There are certainly claims there.

On The Blind Side could catch out a few

We think that there is enough there to really consider ON THE BLIND SIDE for a shortlist nomination in this one.

The Nicky Henderson gelding was on a big upward curve at the end of last season. He has looked good in both hurdling and chasing.

He looks to be on a very good mark here for his reappearance run. The last time that he was in action was in February when he took a NH flat race success at Newcastle.

That was over a 2m trip. But the former pointer looks versatile to pull himself into contention from 7/1* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

Can Golan Fortune double up in this fixture?

Last year’s winner GOLAN FORTUNE is back for a defence and he is in at 13/2 to get it* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

It has been good form from him as well in this campaign, hinting at reaching his peak for this one.

Golan Fortune did have a recent run, going off at Aintree just last weekend when he took a good fourth place. That was in a 3m 1f hurdle, finishing just over three lengths back of Unowhatimeanharry.

What makes him an interesting player again is that he wears the visor for the first time instead of cheek pieces. With a 7lb claimer, Golan Fortune is worth consideration.

Others to note

DEBESTYMAN delivered a very good run last time. He produced a career-best under rules when he was second over 21f here at Cheltenham last month.

That was in a big field of 19 as well. The extra trip is likely to suit him as well.

MRS MILNER has done well this season as well. She scored a win on her reappearance run for this season, delivering the goods in a 2m Galway handicap in July.

She went on further for distance at Ballinrobe to take a third place finish. She’s unexposed over 3m and is an interesting contender.

Out of the remainder of the runners, it is WEATHER FRONT who looks the most likely to have any place claims. He was a decent performer on the flat and good over the hurdles as well.

He opened this season with a second place finish at Kelso in September. Weather Front in a respectable effort at Cheltenham last time out, but tackles 3m here and on a tricky mark.

Predictions & Tips for Cheltenham Handicap Hurdle Racing Odds

Another top fixture and again we have to stick with the one at the head of the market. TEA CLIPPER is just such a strong, consistent performer that he has to bring major claims to the table here.

That win in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow confirmed the progress is still going on and there is more to come under consideration.

He for us, is the justifiable 7/2 favourite* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:13 GMT on Friday, 13th November 2020).

We think that DELL’ ARCA can have a say in this as well. He has just hit top form at the moment and that can’t be ignored.

He’s a smart jumper and with a very good claimer on his back, we think that place claims are certainly there.

The other that we are going to look at to raise his game and give a good account is DEBESTYMAN. He put in an impressive run here at Cheltenham last time out and looked as if he had more to give as well. Debestyman looked to be in good heart and could have a say.
