He almost got a win at York on his penultimate run as he was pushed on to a 1m 6f trip. He looked good for that trip and he’s bold enough to take on the field if he is allowed to get to the front. There have been signs that he is coming back to some top form.

Can consistent Tritonic secure the win?

One of the most consistent horses in this field is TRITONIC and he cannot be written off from 9/2* (betting odds taken from Coral at 23:43 GMT on Friday, 14th August 2020).

He scored twice towards the end of last season as a juvenile. On his reappearance this season he showed up at Royal Ascot and scored a second-place there.

MAX VEGA finished his juvenile season in great style with a couple of victories. His reappearance hasn’t quite gone to plan, coming up short in two runs, but there is still potential there.
