Dream Of Dreams the favourite in Sprint Cup Stakes Odds 2020

So heading up the market for the Sprint Cup Stakes is DREAM OF DREAMS who has been in tremendous form since coming back into action.

On his return he picked up a second place in the Diamond Jubilee, rattling the crossbar in that effort.

But he responded to that in imperious fashion in collecting a 7f win at Newbury in August, collecting the Hungerfod.

Dream Of Dreams was in last year’s edition of the Sprint Cup but wasn’t in the frame at all. He’s back stronger and better than ever and he is a course and distance winner regardless.

He brings some pretty big claims to the table for this contest as the 3/1 favourite* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

GOLDEN HORDE
7/1

Betway

Hello Youmzain to complete the double in the Sprint Cup?

Last year’s winner HELLO YOUMZAIN is taking on the contest again. He can’t be dismissed either and looks to be primed to throw down another bold run here.

On his return to action, he collected a superb win in that Diamond Jubilee, getting the better of Dream Of Dreams.

On his last run, he was in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest when he collected a second-place finish by less than a length there.

He’s in really good nick at the moment and will have backers from his position currently as the 7/2 second favourite* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

Art Power to get back into the winning groove?

Youngster ART POWER has all the tools necessary to put down a big challenge in this contest, without question.

He won his first three races on return to action (four in a row carrying on from last season) and with Silvestre De Sousa taking the ride, he should have a big chance.

He was not quite at his best in his last race, an appearance at the Nunthorpe.

But if that can be excused there Art Power could be a huge threat if he gets back to the dominant form that saw him claim a Group 3 in Ireland recently.

Art Power is the 9/2 second-favourite* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

Golden Horde in with a shout

This is a really competitive renewal here with claims all over the place. GOLDEN HORDE has some after good recent efforts.

On his return to action, he posted a commanding win in the Commonwealth Cup, showing some blistering pace there.

He has been in the frame somewhat in his last two efforts in the July Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest, where he has taken on plenty of quality experience for a third and fifth respectively.

Looking back to the July Cup, he had a few of these he will meet on Saturday behind him. Golden Horde is a 7/1 contender* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

Lope Y Fernandez another with claims

It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see LOPE Y FERNANDEZ in the mix for a place finish in this contest.

He is another in that clutch of runners around the 7/1 mark in Sprint Cup Stakes odds* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

During his juvenile campaign, he took a Group 3 sprint win and he has been in cracking form in tough Group 1 contests this season.

He has hauled himself into the places in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the Qatar Prix Jean Prat and most recently the Prix Maurice De Gheest Stakes. He’s a player.

Other to note

The exciting GLEN SHIEL is a 22/1 option for this trip* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

He has won three of his last four runs now, the most recent of those was in the Group 3 Phoenix Stakes. Glen Shiel goes in a Group 1 for the first time.

SUMMERGHAND is taking on the Group 1 action for the first time as well. He is a former course and distance winner and scored big in the Stewards’ Cup.

He now goes with cheekpieces for the first time and is a 33/1 option* (betting odds taken from Betway at 23:44 GMT on Friday, 4th September 2020).

TABDEED has some claims here if he can find a little more. He got a great win on his last effort, which was at the Group 3 Hackwood. He managed to really say on well there ahead of THE TIN MAN. It’ll be interesting to see if he can progress.

ARCHER’S DREAM is another interesting one, but she will need to find a lot more than what she has produced. She scored a great course distance win in the mud in July and looked really scrappy and bold in it.

Predictions & Tips for Haydock Sprint Cup Stakes Racing Odds

What a contest this is going to be.

GOLDEN HORDE is our top pick for the Sprint Cup Stakes as we can overlook his fifth place finish at the Prix Maurice de Gheest, as the 5f trip didn’t suit him very well. He’ll be better over this trip and regardless, he wasn’t beaten by much there.

DREAM OF DREAMS now has a reputation to try and build. He was extremely impressive in landing the Hungerford at Newbury in August. He has also had the experience of running this race last year and can go much better.

LOPE Y FERNANDEZ is our final pick for the race. He is really heading in the right direction at the moment after showing some real mettle in top contests. There is probably more in him and he can launch himself at the places.
