Saleymm the 3/1 FAV in Spring Cup Handicap Racing Odds

A narrow current favourite at 3/1 in the Spring Cup Handicap odds is SALEYMM* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

He found huge improvement at the end of the previous campaign, winning his last two runs of the season.

Saleymm found even more on his reappearance run.

Three weeks ago he came back with a runner-up finish in the Lincoln at Doncaster.

That run should see him nice and match sharp and there is probably even more to come from him.

ISLA KAI
12/1

Rogue Bear has the strength to land the win

There should be a big challenge coming in from ROGUE BEAR on Saturday at 7/2 in Spring Cup Handicap odds* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

He won three efforts last season, including back to back wins at the end of the previous campaign.

Rogue Bear also had a reappearance run this season in the Lincoln at Doncaster three weeks ago.

He was drawn high, so had a tough assignment on his hands in that one.

But he was the best of those contenders that were drawn wide to take a third-place finish. A big challenge could be there.

The Turpinator brings winning form to Newbury

There was a score for THE TURPINATOR on his reappearance run a month ago, which was at Kempton.

He did a lot of good work at the finish in that one on a 7f trip.

The Turpinator shaped like he would go even better on a return to the 1m distance which is on offer on the weekend.

There have been pieces of likeable form from The Turpinator which could see him get involved.

He now comes up 5lb for Saturday’s effort and has some each way claims at 20/1* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

Isla Kai showed plenty of promise last season

ISLA KAI is a very interesting one on his return to action. He was last seen at York’s Ebor meeting last autumn.

From a 14/1 SP in he was only defeated by half a length in what was a bid for a four-timer.

Overall Isla Kai showed some rapid improvement over the course of the last term, especially in handicapping.

Some of the best work from Isla Kai in handicapping did come at the 1m trip, so he has this distance in him comfortably.

Coming back stronger as a 4-year-old there should be even more from him.

In Spring Cup Handicap betting, Isla Kai is a quote of 12/1* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

Migration teams up with Ryan Moore

MIGRATION will look to get his new season off to a positive start and he has Ryan Moore booked for Saturday.

He was progressive last season, winning back to back races towards the end of his campaign.

On the search for a hat-trick, Migration had an off day at Goodwood in a Listed contest.

But now Migration is refreshed and the booking of a top jockey in Moore should give him a reasonable chance on Saturday.

Migration is respected at a quote of 11/1* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

Other runners to note in the Spring Cup Handicap

ETONIAN won a couple of fixtures during his juvenile season, but then had a poor effort at Sandown in his one run as a 3 year old in the Classic Trial. He’s been away for a year and it’s best to keep an eye on the market.

TRAIS FLUORS comes from a yard that is in form and he is 4lb down from a victory that he recorded at Sandown twelve months ago. There is potential each way claims there.

CU CHULAINN had a promising couple of runs at the start of last season, winning at Kempton in October. He did find Listed company a little too much on his final run of the season. He’s unexposed and down in trip following a wind op.

OH THIS IS US has previous form under his belt, but it’s been a while since he has run to the best of his ability. The switch from struggles on the all-weather to the turf could give him something positive.

MODERN NEWS is not to be overlooked in action this weekend if he can get back to his best. He completed a hattrick at the end of last season. He looked a little short on a 1m trip at Doncaster last month, but connections tried him again at the distance with top jockey William Buick booked.

Predictions & Tips for Spring Cup Handicap Racing Odds

The first of the Spring Cup handicap tips for the weekend is ISLA KAI at 12/1* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

There was a lot to like about his performance last season and he quickly started to show some class in handicapping.

ROGUE BEAR is another progressive sort and a good encouraging run at Doncaster on his reappearance run gives him a shout.

There’s a good quote of 7/2 on Rogue Bear* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

The final tip for the Spring Cup Handicap Odds is THE TURPINATOR at 20/1* (odds recorded at 21:05 GMT on April 15th, 2022 at 888sport).

He enters as an each way contender as he comes up 5lb as he is moved to the 1m trip after a winning 7f trip last time out.
