Kitty’s Light 6/1 FAV in Scottish Grand National Racing Odds

Heading the Scottish Grand National odds at the moment is KITTY’S LIGHT at 6/1* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

There has been some positive form this season from him, looking competitive in a couple of strong races.

Kitty’s Light was last seen taking a runner-up spot at Kempton in the Grade 3 Coral Trophy Handicap Chase on a 3m trip.

While Kitty’s Light hasn’t managed to get off the mark for this season, he was a four-time winner in the previous campaign.

THE WOLF
14/1

Fantastikas has a case

There is a case to be made for FANTATIKAS who has won a couple of times this season, in what has been a good campaign.

Fantastiskas looks nice and progressives still and he was last seen at the Cheltenham Festival in the Ultima Handicap.

He ran with credit there to take a 7th place finish and now as he comes up a long way in the trip, warrants some respect.

Fantastikas is a 12/1 shot in Scottish Grand National betting odds* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

Ashtown Lad not to be overlooked

ASHTOWN LAD has quietly put together an impressive season, which started with a win on his chase debut at Wetherby.

That was back in November and Ashtown Lad hasn’t looked back since there.

He has produced his best form the last twice, taking a couple of place finishes.

The latest of those was in the Towton Chase at Wetherby a couple of months ago.

Ashtown Lad should have the engine in him to handle this.

COming from a top yard and returning to handicaps, Ashtown Lad is a player at 10/1* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

Stormy Judge could thrive in test of stamina

STORMY JUDGE has only raced twice this season and the best of those efforts was a fight place finish at Naas three weeks ago.

That was in a 3m handicap and the Irish challenger put in an eye-catching run there.

He looks likely to thrive in a much bigger test of stamina.

Stormy Judge is a contender at 8/1 in Scottish Grand National odds 2022* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

Win My Wings is flying

It’s been a cracking upward swing of form by WIN MY WINGS recently, who claimed her third win of the season with a score in the Eider Chase at Newcastle on her latest.

That completed a double, so she is heading to Ayr on Saturday looking for a hattrick.

She is rapidly on the rise at the moment.

She keeps the cheek pieces on that she was given for that Newcastle score and warrants respect at 15/2* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

Other Scottish Grand National contenders

MAJOR DUNDEE has looked even better over the fences than he was over the hurdles. He claimed a couple of chase wins at Fakenham and Bangor last year.

After a break of three months Major Dundee took a runner up at Newbury in a novice handicap a month ago. The extra trip on offer should suit him.

THE WOLF has taken back to back runner-up finishes as he looks to add to just one maiden score over the fences. The Wolf comes up 2lb after a strong second at Musselburgh on his latest.

VIA DOLOROSA has been moved up a huge 10lb after running into some fantastic form as of late. 3m handicap wins at Southwell and Fakenham have seen him come on very well, but this is a much bigger test.

HISTORY OF FASHION can be a frustrating one to follow, but if he is on his come then could have something to offer. A clean round could easily bring him some place claims but him being in the right jumping form is not guaranteed.

COURT MASTER has good stamina and was fourth in the Eider Chase at Newcastle on his latest. He stays at the same mark.

THE FERRY MASTER was a runner up at Newcastle on his latest and showed some promise there. He was fourth in last year’s Scottish National song knows what is needed.

Predictions & Tips for Scottish Grand National Racing Odds

We are breaking the Scottish Grand National betting down to a four-horse shortlist for the big run at Ayr.

The first of those to get on the list is WIN MY WINGS at 15/2* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

She looked in superb shape when claiming the Eider at Newcastle, and was so commanding there she has been moved up 8lb.

MAJOR DUNDEE at 11/1 is the next on the Scottish Grand National odds shortlist* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

He looks like a really progressive novice and looks as if he may make this huge trip to his liking and is worth a look.

The final selection is STORMY JUDGE at 8/1* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).

He was really eye-catching in his third place at the Leinster National at Naas and is a brother to Mister Fogpatches who was third in this last year.

The fourth and final shortlisted one for the Scottish Grand National is THE WOLF who was second in the Edinburgh National.

It’s been a very good showing from him this season and has claims from 14/1* (odds recorded at 20:22 GMT on April 1st, 2022 at Coral).
