The best three tennis betting tips for Wednesday

Feliciano Lopez / Spain ©IMAGO / ThomasReiner.pro 06/22/2021

Today’s tennis betting tips take a look at a couple of the grass-court tournaments that are in swing this week.

Players are getting their final preparations done ahead of Wimbledon 2021 which starts later this month.

It’s two picks from the men’s action in Spain, while one from the strong field at WTA Eastbourne.

Best tennis Betting Tips Today: Feliciano Lopez v Adrian Mannarino

Tennis betting tips today start in Mallorca, Spain. Feliciano Lopez v Adrian Mannarino looks like being one of the best matches to come on Wednesday.

There may not be too much to choose between them either, offering a bit of tennis betting value in the match outright.

Very unusual, this is a grass-court tournament in Spain. So it’s a good build-up event ahead of Wimbledon.

Lopez needed three sets to come through a really tough second-round match against Karen Khachanov.

It was a three-set victory that the Spaniard took, having dropped the opener.

Things were a little smoother for Adrian Mannarino.

His second-round match against Dominic Thiem went his way after his opponent retired in the first set.

So that was a great break for the Frenchman who had opened in the first round with a win over Jan-Lennard Struff.

39-year-old Lopez leads the head to head 2-1.

But interestingly only one of the three previous meetings has actually been completed because of injury retirements.

The most recent meeting was on grass at Wimbledon 2018 and Mannarino had been 2-1 down before Lopez had to pull out.

Mannarino’s the fresher here for a match between two players who are struggling for form, and he could sneak it.

Tennis Picks Today: Daniil Medvedev v Casper Ruud

Next for tennis betting for today, we have a cracker.

This is the big fixture of Wednesday’s action at ATP Mallorca for today’s tennis betting tips.

Top seed Daniil Medvedev beat Cortenin Moutet in straight sets in the second round. But he looks as if he needs to find his feet on the surface.

The Russian, who was a quarter-finalist at the French Open, lost his first match in Halle, Germany recently on his first foray onto the grass.

He is top-quality of course and the more time he spends on the court, the stronger he is going to get again.

Casper Ruud makes for an interesting grass court challenger here.

He started in the first round with a straight-sets win over Gilles Simon, before getting past Tennys Sandgren to set up this quarter-final clash.

This will be the second meeting between the two players, who have both won an ATP Tour title this year.

Norway’s Ruud is one of the future stars of the Tour but lost his one fixture against Medvedev last year at the ATP Cup in Australia (hard court).

Medvedev hasn’t looked settled on grass yet. This is an intriguing one and may go the distance.

tennis Betting Tips for Today: Jelena Ostapenko v Ons Jabeur

We have a top clash at WTA Eastbourne next for today’s tennis betting tips. There’s a deep field at Eastbourne this year.

Recent titleist Ons Jabeur will look to carry her good positive form forwards.

The Tunisian collected the title in Birmingham last week, dropping one set in her five matches on the way to lifting the title.

That was the first Tour title of Jabeur’s career.

She opened her account in Eastbourne with a straight-sets win over Marketa Vondrousova on Monday.

This is a tricky one in the round of sixteen against Jelena Ostapenko.

The young Latvian powered her way to a rapid-fire opening round success over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the recent French Open finalist.

Ostapenko lost in the second round at Birmingham last week and is 1-1 in the head to head with Jabeur.

The most recent meeting was last year in Ostrava with Jabra winning. We think this meeting goes her way too.

This should be a real highlight of action on Wednesday, but it’s worth rolling with Jabeur who is thriving on the grass at the moment.

Ons Jabeur to win @ 8/13
