Tennis Betting Picks Today: Karolina Pliskova v Maria Sakkari

Pliskova, who is the outright favourite now to win the Grand Slam, moved into the final eight untroubled.

She is into the Quarter Finals for the first time in her career.
But she had a gruelling three and a half hour match to get past Bianca Andreescu in the Fourth Round.
That has to have taken something out of the Greek star, as the match didn’t finish until well after 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Tennis Betting Tips for Today: Novak Djokovic v Matteo Berrettini
The outright odds on this quarter-final match for today’s tennis tips are frankly ridiculous.

Novak Djokovic is aiming up a shot at winning all four Grand Slam titles in 2021.
He is just three match wins away from achieving that remarkable feat.
We don’t see Matteo Berrettini doing enough to stop him.
This US Open campaign hasn’t been flawless from Djokovic by any measure.
He’s dropped the opening set in his last two matches in the draw.
But each time he has fought back powerfully and is so hard to beat over five sets.
2019 US Open semi-finalist Berrettini has dropped at least one set in three of his four matches at this tournament.
His defence hasn’t looked strong enough.
The Italian has lost to Djokovic at both the French Open and then in the Final of Wimbledon this year.
That’s a 3-0 head to head lead Djokovic has overall against Berrettini. We expect him to extend that.
The way things are going, the Serbian may let a set slip though.

Tennis for Today: Alexander Zverev v Lloyd Harris
We round off tennis betting tips today with a look at an expected win for Alexander Zverev.
The German has been in tremendous form.
He won back to back titles at the Olympic Games and ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati ahead of the US Open.
That’s a 15 match winning streak that he is currently on.
Zverev, who was runner up to Dominic Thiem in last year’s US Open Final, looks in great shape.
At the start of his title run in Cincinnati recently, Zverev beat Harris in straight sets.

Harris has done superbly here, not having been past the second round of any previous Grand Slam.

We just think that is a different level of difficulty.
