Nick Kyrgios has defied some odds to make it through to this year’s Quarter Final at Wimbledon.
The Australian player has had some battles along the way.
Only one of his four match wins was in straight sets, which was back in the Second Round.
He fought back in the Third Round to win a feisty encounter with fourth-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Kyrgios was then taken to five sets by Brandon Nakashima in the Fourth Round.
He now meets Chile’s Christian Garin for a place in the final four.
If Kyrgios gets there it will be the first Grand Slam Semi Final in his career.
The two players have never met before and there is very little between them in the rankings.
Christian Garin was also involved in a five-set match in the last round.
He beat Alex de Minaur on a tie-breaker in the deciding set.
This is the furthest that he has ever been in a Grand Slam.
But after taking advantage of a fairly kind draw, the Chilean may find Kyrgios too much to handle.

He is the red-hot favourite to win this Quarter Final match against Fritz.
The head-to-head is interesting between these two as it is one win each.
Taylor Fritz claimed a win over Nadal earlier this year in the Final of Indian Wells.
That was a major upset.
But this is the Grand Slam stage in a five-set match which makes a repeat for Fritz that much tougher.

Simona Halep v Amanda Anisimova: Daily Free Tennis Tips on Online Betting
Over in the women’s draw for 2022 Wimbledon Tennis tips, there is a cracking match coming up in midweek.
Simona Halep has been in red-hot form for this year’s Wimbledon as she seeks her second title at the tournament.
She faced young star Paula Badosa in the Fourth Round.
Halep raced to a win, dropping just three games.
That was such an impressive performance. Any kind of repeat level of form will likely see her take a Semi Final spot.
Amanda Anisimova has been going up the levels this year and has done well at SW19.
After beating Cori Gauff in the Third Round, Anisimova then took a rapid win over Harmony Tan to reach the Quarters.
This is the 20-year-old’s best performance at Wimbledon.
She hadn’t made it beyond the second round in either of her two previous attempts.
Halep leads the head-to-head 2-1 and didn’t drop more than three games in either of her wins over the American.

Ajla Tomljanovic v Elena Rybakina: Daily Free Tennis Tips on Online Betting
2022 Wimbledon Tennis tips turn to the final women’s Quarter Final now.
Elena Rybakina continues to make very steady progress through this Wimbledon draw.
She eased past Petra Martic in the Fourth Round, which was a tricky-looking match for her.
She has now matched her previous best Slam effort which was a Quarter Final at last year’s French Open.
This is just the second appearance in the draw at Wimbledon, losing in last year’s Fourth Round.
Rybankina beat Australia’s Tomljanovic in their one previous meeting which was last year in Madrid.
It was a commanding victory for her as well.
Tomljanovic has needed three sets in her last two matches to progress.
But they have been excellent wins over Barbora Krejcikova and then Alize Cornet.
She looks competitive, but Rybakina is the clear pick in this one.
