Real Madrid v Liverpool

Semi-final draw:

Bayern Munich or Paris St-Germain v Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund

Manchester City v Borussia Dortmund

The Citizens will meet German side Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

Man City will have to deal with Dortmund striker Erling Braut Halland who has scored 20 goals in 14 Champions League appearances.

Dortmund had a change of manager in December, bringing in Edin Terzic.

The form of Dortmund isn’t quite as hot as the German side would like, as they have been vulnerable in defence.

They beat Sevilla 5-4 on aggregate in the last round, bringing their Champions League record for the season to W5 D2 L1.

City are unbeaten in the Champions League this season, winning all their games except a group stage trip to FC Porto.

In the Round of 16 Man City beat German opposition in the form of Borussia Mochegnladbach 4-0 on aggregate.

City and Dortmund met for the first time in the 2012 Group Stage and there was a 1-1 draw at the Etihad before Dortmund won 1-0 at home.

Porto v Chelsea

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has to be pretty happy with this tie.

The Blues hold a W5 D1 L2 record from their eight previous meetings with Porto.

Chelsea reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup on the weekend, extending their unbeaten form since Tuchel took over.

Tuchel took PSG to last year’s Champions League final but lost to Bayern Munich.

Porto are big outsiders in the Champions League, although did pull off a sizeable shock in the last round.

They dumped Juventus out of the competition, having gone into the tie as heavy underdogs.

First leg odds: Chelsea 10/11, Draw 5/2, Porto 3/1

Bayern Munich v Paris St Germain

Last year’s Champions Leauge Final saw Bayern Muynich taken on PSG for teh sivlerware.

It was Bayern who won the day, thanks to a 1-0 result.

Now in April, they will battle each other for a place in this season’s semi-finals.

Bayern have won their last three home games in the Champions League against PSG.

Each of the last six games between them outside of the Final, have been won by the home side on the day.

So that makes a fascinating set up for this one and Bayern Munich will need a strong start on home soil first up.

Bayern are W7 D1 in this season’s competition, which included four points against Atletico Madrid in the group stage.

They beat Lazio 6-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.

PSG dumped Barcelona out in the last round, cruising past the Catalans 5-2 on aggregate.

The damage was done in the first leg with PSG winning 4-1 in Spain.

First Leg Odds: Bayern Munich 4/6, Draw 3/1, 15/4

Real Madrid v Liverpool

This is another of headlining ties of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Liverpool and Real Madrid have three wins each from their six previous meetings in the European Cup.

They have only met once before in a knockout tie, which was in 2009 when they met in the Round of 16.

Liverpool cruised that tie, winning 5-0 on aggregate.

Their most recent meeting was their 2018 Final clash with the Spaniards winning 3-1 on the night.

Even though Liverpool have not been at their best on the domestic front, they are narrow favourites to win through this tie to reach the final four.

But they may have to dig in during the first leg out in Spain.

First leg odds: Real Madrid 6/4, Liverpool 17/10, Draw 12/5.
