May Sonic the 15/8 FAV in Racing Odds

The latest run that Aljady had was 10 days in the Ascot Handicap 10 days ago. He wasn’t on the radar in that one.
But Aljady is eased into much calmer waters now. It’s worth noting that he has been fighting it out in competitive races in bigger Grade fixtures.
He hasn’t handled himself particularly well in those, but this is easier and he is coming up on a trip as well which is likely to help.

Sir Oliver arrives in winning form
SIR OLIVER arrived at Chelmsford City on Tuesday and delivered a win on his latest run. The 4-year-old claimed that at Brighton 35 days ago.
He switches back to the all-weather here then in good form. But he is also returning 11lb higher.
Sir Oliver does carry a 5lb claimer on his back to try to alleviate some of that. He needs to be taken seriously for place claims.

Stylish Performer likely to go well back on the AW
The return to the all-weather could very well suit STYLISH PERFORMER on Tuesday.

Stylish Performer has won two of his six runs this year, the most recent of those was at Wolverhampton in April.
24 days was the most recent run from Stylish Performer, claiming a respectable enough 5th place finish in a 7f Chester fixture.
There are definite each-way claims in this one and need to be respected.
Rest Of the Run Runners
LEXINGTON DASH is not a forlorn hope despite being one of the outsiders for the contest. He is only 3lb above his last winning mark. He’s had a tough time recently because of the handicapper, but he could have a chance.
FULL AUTHORITY has not gotten anything going this season. He was last seen a month ago at Royal Ascot as was third from last in a field of 28. It’s hard to see where his challenge comes from.
PAPA STOUR is a course winner but that was a while ago. He also has to deal with being 13lb higher as he makes a return to the all-weather. He’s down on the trip though and gets the cheekpieces on for the first time.
NIGEL NOTT is a previous course and distance winner. His current form may not be strong enough to deliver the win here. He was well below form last time out 39 days ago at York.
GIORGIO VASARI has been struggling with handicaps this year. He runs for a new yard today and looks to have a lot to find.

There has not been great form from him recently, but his efforts have been at much higher levels than this race. Also down in trip, Aljady brings leading claims to the table.
We expect course and distance winner MAY SONIC to get in the frame as well. He continued in good form with his runner-up spot at Newcastle 25 days ago.
The final one for the shortlist in this contest is STYLISH PERFORMER who should enjoy a return to the all-weather. He’s shown the form this season to get his nose into this.
