Farmers Insurance Open Betting Favourite – Jon Rahm

JON RAHM memorably rattled home an eagle on the final hole of his 2017 appearance at Torrey Pines to claim the win. That was on his tournament debut as well.

Back at Torrey Pines in 2021, Rahm was back at it, this time winning the US Open at the venue.

That’s a cumulative -51 under par that he has produced at the course since 2017 and naturally looks a good fit for this year’s renewal.

Main Contenders Farmers Insurance Open Golf Betting

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA brings some winning form to the table with a victory at Waialae in his last appearance. He has made the cut in all but two appearances at the Farmers, including three top-three finishes.

XANDER SCHAUFELLE claimed a T7 finish at Torrey Pines at the US Open last year. That was after a T2 at the Farmers Insurance Open. He has tamed the course and could feature strongly this year.

JUSTIN THOMAS hasn’t played at the Farmers for a while, not in the last six years in fact. But he put together a top twenty finish at the US Open and his game showed a natural fit for the course in that appearance.

Farmers Insurance Open Golf Outsiders

BRYSON DECHAMBEU hasn’t played at the Farmers since 2018 but did appear there for the US Open last year, and he was well in contention at the start of the final day. His challenge fell away, but that experience, not having played at Torrey Pines for a while, could put him back in good stead.

TONY FINAU hasn’t had the greatest of time this year, but he has a decent record at the Farmers having made the cut on all seven previous appearances. Among all of that he has carded a Top 10 four times so could be ripe for a revival.

MARC LEISHMAN knows Torrey Pines like the back of his hand and was the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open winner. There have been two runner-up finishes for him as well at the tournament, and another couple of top ten finishes can be put on top. Leishman could bring another challenger.
