Grand National 2018 In-Play Betting Odds

Use in-play betting for big Aintree feature

Horse Racing Betting

The will be 40 horses lining up at the Grand National on the weekend at Aintree. This is a tremendous spectacle as the field takes on the challenge of 4 miles 514 yards and 30 fences. Even for those who don’t follow horse racing, most will have heard of the famous jumps like Becher’s Brook and The Chair. The race is ran over two laps of sixteen fences, with the first fourteen being jumped twice.

This is the longest national hunt race in Great Britain. It is a test of stamina for both jockey and horse. With the rise and rise and live in-play betting, no longer do you have to walk down the High Street and get a punt on your selection for the Grand National before the flag is dropped at Aintree. Now you can bet live in-play on the big feature race, which is the crown of the Aintree Festival.

It is Anibale Fly and Total Recall who have taken plenty of strong backing at the head of the market. Total Recall is at 10/1 odds and Anibale Fly at 11/1 with Paddy Power* (betting odds taken on April 12th, 2018 at 4:21 p.m.) and Tiger Roll is still there at elevens as well. One that the bookies will be fearing as well is Seeyouatmidnight at 16/1 who has taken heavy backing over the course of the week building up to the race.

Horse Racing In-Play opportunities

The in-play opportunity just options up so many options and combine that with the ability to Cash Out then you are well tooled up. If your selection has gotten off to a bad start and looks well out of it, you could even cash out on them and make another selection in-play.

Similarly, if your selection is a faller early on in the race, they may want to look elsewhere in the remaining field for a selection. One thing’s for certain that there WILL be fallers in the Grand National. It’s as sure of a thing as the sun rising in the east. Last year just 19 of the 40 starters completed the challenge.
